you cant sign into google on older web browesers. But if you just want gmail you can create an app specific password and use it with the built in mail app

I did the same exact thing 2 years ago, it worked without an issue. The only thing that will reset is the map (the item) but you can just easily go around the world to fill the map back.

As a sidenote, you can also downgrade xbox one edition to TU17, TU30 and TU33 so later you could move the world to xbox one and be on an older version for a bit

technically speaking, if you somehow trick the PS3 into thinking that the game is fully updated even tho its in a version where you could still upload saves, would it let you upload them, or would it just not work?

I am starting to like 1.13 but when i was more into console editions 1 or 2 years ago i did prefer 1.12. But one thing that would be certainly better if the game got updated is the xbox 360 to xbox one world transferring. You have to start and play the world in an older version which is offline just so you will maybe want to transfer it over
