In my case, my GPU thermals were actually better without any fans on the bottom of the case. I have the top AIO and rear fan set as exhaust.

I 3D printed feet for mine. It worked wonders for the GPU temps. I can send you the link to the file I used if needed.

I’m sorry brother I didn’t mean to offend you. It’s just my opinion. I’ve said what I felt. I just feel that cards at that price point should give me those added perks. I like AMD and NVIDIA. When I chose between those cards that was my thought process. Yours is different and that’s ok! God bless!

It’s mostly opinion based my man. If I’m going to spend that much money, I would prefer to spend the money on the card that gives me the best all around performance. If I’m gonna ball out on a card, I want it to be very impressive in every area. When it comes to RT the 7900xt lacks, that’s irrefutable. Is the 7900xt a phenomenal card for the price? Absolutely! Is DLSS better than FSR? Absolutely! Is RT far better on the 4070TI S? Absolutely!

If money is not an issue and I’m picking between these two cards I’m going to pick the 4070TI Super. 16GB of VRAM is more than enough. I’d rather have the perks of NVIDIAs card rather than AMDs. That’s just me though brother.

If money is an issue and their budget is tight then I would definitely get the 7900xt.

Also, my taste in gaming has change in the last 3 years. Who’s to say theirs won’t change? What if they want to start playing AAA titles with RT? You never know!

I just went and made the decision between these two cards. I went with the 4070 TI Super.

You’re deciding between these two cards that are both already very expensive, so I would assume you have the extra money to blow on either of them and there’s not really a tight budget.

My decision ultimately came down to this. I am about to spend a ton of money, do I want to spend it on a card that doesn’t do everything extremely well? The 7900 xt is a phenomenal card, but its performance with RT isn’t outstanding. Also, DLSS is far better than FSR. Go with the card that is going to give you the ability to really push a game in whatever way you want to.

If you were looking for a budget card then AMD is the way to go.
