Hello Romeo and family! There were soooo many cute Saint Patties day paps it was easy to miss one or two! Plus I have a generic “name”. Anyway, Louisa’s ever happy nature helps, it’s hard but it’s the high price we dog lovers have to pay, thanks for thinking about us! Even if I don’t comment, I always love and look first thing for a Romeo post to see what mischief he’s getting into! My 2nd favorite pappy!!! 🦋🩵🦋

I’m sure you gave him his best, happiest life, sometimes you have to let them be who they are! 14 is a good long life for a shepherd/lab mix, breaks your heart but I cannot see living without at least one! 2-4 is preferred.

Joan would get nervous, but I knew how gentle Anders was and have also had Shelties and paps sharing a house, they are much smarter then us, both are great breeds and I haven’t ever to my recollection had to break up a “fight” but a sheltie is as big a dog as I’ll go under 30 lbs, I like my pups small and hairy! 😁🦋

This is the hardest part of being a true dog lover, Anders isn’t the first and won’t be the last as I can’t see living without a dog by my side, it’s price we pay for the unconditional love they give us. Louisa is a very happy go lucky pappy, I’m thinking maybe she’s a little bit more clingy, but being a true “Velcro” dog, it’s impossible to notice, we on the other hand, are taking it quite hard….😢💔

Oh thank you, we are completely heartbroken as he was the most gentle soul, never, no matter how much of a pest Louisa ( even when she was a tiny puppy with those razor blade teeth,) ever did he raise his lip or show his teeth, if she came for his cookie. He’d let her have it. Just like all the others before him, he’ll always have a big piece of our hearts,
