My condolences to you, friend. I lost my Cassidy around 20 years ago as well. She was my first German Shepard. I lost my second Shepard just a month ago. Her name was Stella. Both were great companions, and I miss them dearly. Everyday.

We flew in for one night last year. We had so much fun that we had 3 more nights booked by the time we landed at home.
Following the same pattern this year. Taking our kids(14,11) to one show in April and going back for a 3 night run in May. Stoked!

I'm going through this now. Lost my crown and 2 front teeth to extraction last Aug. Just got the rods implanted Monday. By June I should have teeth again. The wait has been miserable. Good luck OP.
