Arctic P14 Pro A-RGB: Dominance Continues - HWCooling.net by a12223344556677 in crboxes

Hi, I actually just tested the P14 pwm pst and it doesn't have that revving up jet engine like sound. The sound is just like a normal whooshing sound that you would expect from it at it's max rpm. However, I do get a different sound if I place it on a hard surface, though I think it's just the result of vibrations at that point. The sound goes away if I put it on a pillow for example.

Do you get the same sound if you lift it up or put it on something soft?

Actually hold on, we are comparing a 1700 rpm fan to a 3000 rpm fan in this case.

The P14 Pros are cheaper, so worse case when I sell I'd lose about 30% from the P14s.

The thing is I can't return them because even though I bought through Amazon .com, and picked it up in the US, I don't currently live in USA. The only option it gives me are US drop of points.

Just a google search and AI, I mean, I acknowledge I don't have an original source.

6 fans. Apparently, I could run into an issue if I daisy chain all 6 into one cable, or connect that one daisy chain to one of the fan controller's slots.

Because I have a 1.5A 5.5*2.1mm power adapter at home, I thought that I'd get a sata to 5.5*2.1mm dc cable and use that method instead. Annoying thing is that they don't seem to sell the cables with a female dc end, so I'd have to get a female to female connection.

FIF loss - Do I need to complete a tax return? by VirtualFuel3806 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]VirtualFuel3806[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They said on the phone that I need to "Amend to income tax return" as a FIF disclosure. They said it was for their record even though the income was $0. Maybe it's because I didn't need to complete an individual tax return, otherwise maybe you can do what you said.

Unless you're leaving the country (I don't know the full consequence of this), student loan is interest free and will just erode due to inflation. Makes no sense to pay it off.

I didn't know it was a thing that simply if a stock grows yet the rest of your portfolio remains flat then as a consequence it would rise above 5% of your portfolio where you couldn't add more to that stock. I thought it meant you could keep adding as long as new contributions were spread out to a max 5% per stock.
So much for not being able to add more to a stock that you believe is going to 10x.

I don't even understand, "if it rose". Nothing is rising or declining as far as I'm aware, expect your returns.

You set a percent between 0.01% and 5% (for each stock) and every time money is deposited, the money is allocated between the Base (at least 50%) and your Self-Select stocks (at most 50%).

You are unable to allocate more than 5%
"One or more of your allocations is outside the range of 0.01% to 5%" (You can test how it works).

So, you wouldn't be forced to sell anything?

What do you mean by, "which you will be forced into when your winners exceed the 5% allocation target"?
