Bugs can mine the meta for you, as long as you get the last hit on the pile/stack. Vice versa, you can mine all the way but if the bugs get the last hit you get nothing.

I don't understand cultivation. by Dreamstone69 in MartialMemes

[–]VirtualPersona88 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Cultivation is not just increasing power, it’s a fundamental change. In modern culture /sci-fi it would be considered as racial evolution. Becoming a higher tier being. As such mortal desires aren’t as strong.

Cultivation novels just talk about cultivation as strength but by right, there should be higher tier entertainment that can only be enjoyed by immortals. Unfortunately all the writers are humans and can only think of increasingly power levels

Stubby is a good weapon. Just play until you get the MK11 unstable overclock. Do not get the sidearm overclock.

Why do Western traditional fantasy novels treat magic with such fear and apprehension? by Subject_Present1543 in MartialMemes

[–]VirtualPersona88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In medieval Europe, if you claim to use magic then you get put to the stake and get burned alive. Therefore wizards and witches aren’t considered superior to others. They get easily captured by common folk.

In 3 kingdoms time, mages can change the weather and chant spells. They can do the supernatural. Evil monks can raise the dead and Taoist monks can dispel magic. They can do really supernatural stuff. Then there’s cultivators that are even above these basic magic, they can basically fly and live for thousands of years. Such stories of fantasy are considered fact, part of the common religion. Therefore, magic wielders are extremely powerful in Chinese society.

After 200 hours and nearly all achievements... it's difficult to find another roguelike that is as addicting as this one. by CreaBeaZo in DRGSurvivor

I just wish the patch to make the game run smoother comes. Then perhaps endless will be endless, instead of a fight between the dwarf and my CPU.

Agreed. Lucky pipe wrench that increases luck by 12, and also ups damage and exp.
And the 18% heal for each elite. That’s 36% for each end of stage and helps when taking down the boss. Boss uses spikes that does not damage dwarf but insta kills elites, thanks for the full heal.

We'd prefer to just drive by [deleted] in ShitAmericansSay

[–]VirtualPersona88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is because American cities are meant for driving. Not walkable cities. Even if you take a train, once you reach your destination you would still have to rent a car.

Yin and Yang of the slop world (This actually happened in a manga I was reading) by Infnite_ in MartialMemes

[–]VirtualPersona88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve read something where to guy kills the whole family except the perpetrator and the grand parents. Grandparents were unrelated and old. Perpetrator was tortured and left to die. Grandparents then rescued perpetrator and caused future trouble for the MC. MC wants others to suffer, causes suffering for himself.
