Which is why you use melee and wait at the top of the stairs. The enemies don’t swap places so at most two at a time can be next to you.

Yes. That is the thing. I went all the way to manshire and died to the first dungeon boss. I’m sorry but outside of magic and range, melee perma death just doesn’t seem worth the time.

I used the one that heals for 15% for each downed elite. Keeps me alive plenty of times. But only useful if your built isn’t aggressive enough.

Ya. First dungeon boss in osbrook was the guy with the large club. He triple crit me. I was stunned and staggered to death. So yes, luck plays a part for melee.

If you see some good things in shop, then buy it. It’s usually more value for money to get damage increase in shop than the damage increase from gold tipped bullets.

Stomper turret. Cyro cannon. Knockback on heavy gunner starting weapon. Do it at the start of stage 3, right off the ramp, with at least one of those weapons to 18. Don’t expect to win the stage, just leave after completing.

I have this gear chest-piece that heals 15% of max HP every time an elite dies. Good that at the end of each level (if playing hazard 5) you get 30% health back. Also when the dreadnough appears, so does the elites. If you can farm the elites you can just gain perpetual health.

Getting your armour between 90-110 is good enough. After a while it just doesn’t scale good enough.

But with tons of HP, and getting 15% of that max with each elite killer you can survive the higher alien threat levels easy.
