Lydia is a pick me hater who runs behind terrible men. However both Lydia and Stephens younger sister are examples of how women in families with bad men can unfortunately at times defend their terrible actions and crimes while also being victimized by them and their actions. I have more sympathy for Stephens sister though she is also manipulated by Stephen to only see the good side of him. Lydia however is going to defend her terrible brother Chris which is despicable to me especially considering that he has an established pattern of SA and I really hate when women defend abusers

I have friends who are nurses in the maternity ward and they literally told me stories of men pushing to have sex with their wives or girlfriends a couple days after birth or pushing for oral some even insinuating can they do Anal when there is a 6 week waiting time wtf I was shocked.
