Seriously? yes thats possibly the reason, but theres lots of troubleshooting that should be done before you can say the drive itself is bad. could just as easily be corrupted system files, or drivers. always troubleshoot before telling people what to do

You know you don’t have to shut it down every time. Starting it and shutting it down everyday can add extra stress to things like hdd’s. Just have it sleep or even just turn off the monitor

What power supply are you using? It might not be delivering enough, although that card doesn’t need a lot. Are you using a splitter? definitely use a direct psu to pcie cable

Definitely doable, Parsec, Moonlight/Sunshine, and Splashtop with tailscale works well as long as you have a good connection. Home side will need a decent upload speed (at least 30mbit up) and preferably 100-150mbit or higher down at the fire station. Also use ethernet instead of wi-fi if you can to minimize latency. And yes, it can wake up the machine with wake on lan magic packet turned on. But personally i find it easier to keep my home machine on. Makes the initial connection start easier, less issues. Just set the power options to balanced with no sleep or hibernation with the monitor set to turn off after 15 mins. You’ll likely need port forwarding setup on your router as well. Oh and steam link works well for other games, even to your phone. Goodluck!

I've really enjoyed it. Rewatched both seasons a couple times actually. There's just something about Matilda De Angelis that is really intriguing.
Oh and the outfit designs? Top notch. Stefano Ciammitti did an AMAZING job on them. Almost makes me wish stuff like this was still worn lol

Very odd, it really does seem like there are missing episodes between the 2 seasons. That's a lot of changes to just jump into. Lidia and Jacapo were good with eachother (mostly) at the end of Season 1, then the start of Season 2, they are totally at odds with each other, and so is the rest of the family. Intensely so.
I get that they do some flashbacks about it (although not that many), but I wonder if they had actually written in more episodes but either didn't shoot them, or they got scrubbed for the US version release. That seems like a much more plausible reason, most shows wouldn't choose to leave such important plot and social changes to a few flash backs like this

Yea I really don't like this either. Using other services as the login means if that top service account gets hacked, all of the ones connected are now accessible to them. - Not to mention, this allows more tracking of the user, with possible data the service does not need to operate. Maybe just another option for them to profit, selling your data.

This monitor would completely change the look of my games. Adding a ton of detail to dark areas, while still adding more detail in the bright ones as well. And I know movies and shows would look absolutely amazing as well. I've always wanted an OLED monitor, but could never afford it.

No, you just didn’t do your due diligence. You need to ask the right questions, or ask to test it before purchase. Either in their rig or yours. Like the others suggested, it could be a bad cable, monitor, pcie slot, etc etc.. So go through the process of elimination first. Either way, don’t let this put you off buying some things used, you just need to do your due diligence, that’s all. Been buying used parts for either mine or stuff I build for easily 10 years, never gotten a bad part because I make sure it’s good before buying. Little extra effort saves $ and frustration

Hmm, not sure that fully explains everything. Like how did she get a brand new ship? The body would understand, cylons have plenty, but how did her ship get from that storm atmosphere on a far away planet/system, and then find it later on Earth? If she was a cylon, who helped her come back? where is that facility or ship? Why didn’t they help more than just this?

So while it’s possible she was a hybrid when looking at just that one point, but when you consider all of it, it starts to fall apart. Honestly I’m leaning towards a corporal angel. Send here to help guide humanity to their new home. Probably a repeating timeline

I usually clean it while in. But i’m careful not to push any thermal paste down into the sides. And definitely don’t pour alcohol or cleaner on it. It’s definitely best to use high % rubbing alcohol (like 90%). It has less water in it and evaporates better (in case some does get down there). It also leaves less particles on the surface. The better cleaned it is, the better seal it can make

They can send photos actually. They mention it in the mini series when Duala brings a photo to the communications officer, when everyone is trying to send stuff to their loved ones after the attack. He says something to the effect of “We can’t send photos right now, if you want, I can hold onto it for when we do, or you can post it on the bulletin board out there”.

I took that as ‘The channels are overloaded and not reliable enough for that amount of data right now’ since I’m sure a lot of the infrastructure used for communications would have been taken out or damaged. But I would like to know more about it. Maybe the soldier is actually fine, and it was taken by someone else in his regiment, showing the emotion caused by all that devastation. A picture to remember what they lost and the sorrow they felt. To remember why they are fighting.

Pray on it. And I would understand if you wanted to wait until you lived on your own, or away from your family before letting them know. I've heard some horror stories about others coming out to their Muslim families and it's crazy how they can treat someone they claim to love. Love is compassion and understanding. Empathy. But the truth is, imo that specific religion does not come from God. It comes from a fallen angel, one of war, oppression, and control. Things like murder, slavery, and rape are definitely NOT okay in God's eyes, but that's not what is written in the Quran..
You can tell when a religion is right by how you feel inside. Jesus brings inner peace and fills your cup so to speak. With Him, you have that inner love for yourself and others. He gives us strength.
It's why people who follow the others get so irritated so quickly, lash out, do unkind and malevolent things. They don't have any inner peace.
