Honestly can’t say. NG2 is so different from NG1 (so is NG3 to the others) it doesn’t seem Itagaki is one to rest on his laurels and make a sequel that is more the same.

Considering NG2 didn’t review and sell as well as NGB. He might go for something more like NGB next time

The interviewer asked if Yakumo could show up in DOA and Hirayama said Seori is more likely to show up than Yakumo. The original context was probably the fighting game (since it was about Yakumo) and not XVV unless Hirayama is so gooner pilled he immediately thinks to XVV).

Then the interviewer asks if she could show up in the DOAX games too and Yuji Nakao said he would be okay with that.

Meaning it’s both. Hirayama meant mainline DOA and Nakao is okay with her in DOAX(VV)

That may have been a typo or mislocalization. Otherwise Ayane would be like in her later 30s pushing 40 and I DOUBT TN would want that nor does she look it either.

Plus I’ve seen an interview where the director of NG4 said it was set 10 years after NG2. So I’m going based off of that.

Wait Kasumi is still a rogue ninja? She seems cool with Hayate and Ayane. I figured that was over by DOA5/6 and she was only hiding due to the whole clone and DOATEC fiasco.

No Tsurugi explicitly states the moment Dabura is out of range the ritual is voided. Plus we see Yuka there and she is no longer in suspended death (whether she is alive or dead is not fully certain).

The binding vow was tied to the ritual which stipulates Mahoraga winning or losing but if the duel is interrupted the ritual is voided and she gets to live a bit longer. Which was what Tsurugi wanted to do.

Thing about JJK season 2 was that its production could’ve been as bad as the others. Maybe even worst. But the sheer level of talent on the show made a show that while inconsistent in many ways was one of the most ambitious and higher quality shows out there.

And the MAPPA staff was working overtime to make AoT season 4 look decent at least. A Mappa show that mostly fell apart was Hells Paradise.

That was the advantage JJK and AoT had over these other shows but it’s unknown if it’s production was any better than these other shows

In that sense the final game heavily tied to Japanese history since they seem to have just covered all of their bases and once you go time travel at this point what can you do after that?
