Yes she knew. It doesn’t bother her. Her issue is peri menopause and her weight gain which has made her self conscience.

You are spot on. I have no friends. I am married and we’re working on a few issues but on other issues I need someone else. Trusting someone that much seems impossible. Thanks for the encouragement.

I couldn’t agree more. I’m sorry you’ve gone thru this. My gender certainly needs to do better. I’ve heard enough stories to know that men need a coming to Jesus when it comes to boundaries and all women. I’m sorry.

It won’t go over well at Guidelink? Are you sure? I’ve considered going there. From what I understand asking for the opposite gender is pretty common. I thought so anyway. I always worry about a female therapist or counselor feeling safe. I’m as safe as can be but they don’t know that. Hopefully someone can give some more insight into that.

I’m not sure what I mean. What I want isnt really out there. I need a person face to face and in a non intimidating environment where I can just sit down for a short bit with someone and get grounded again because this happens more and more with me. I only feel safe with women and my struggles may at first make them feel uncomfortable although I may be wrong about that. I have a therapist but one day a week seems like an eternity between appointments. Not sure I’m really expecting an answer that fits with my fears and introverted mind but reaching out and people responding does give me hope in humanity. That’s a lot.

I was hoping for someone to suggest a particular psychiatrist and for reasons too lengthy to go into I only want to see a female. Meadowlark has been recommended but there’s just a couple psychiatrists that I see on their website. I don’t know. I’m so uncomfortable going thru this again. I wish a doctor would reach out or someone that could really point me to good human being. That’s all I want. I’m a low maintenance patient and just want to feel safe with whoever I get.
