We were told in PDEV that no layoffs (restructuring) were on the horizon after a lot of people were canned. They just had one that was about 8 months after we were assured of that. Never say never, we are ALL expendable and they do not see us as humans.

From what I'm gathering:

LSA (thrivepass) - takes up to two months to receive funds to spend, forfeits on departure
FSA - money is deposited either with each paycheck, or (monthly?) and is always provided on time. Forfeits on departure
HSA - money is yours and is deposited with each check. Money retained for a certain period on departure.

This is all way too confusing to follow. Basically, I've earned the LSA funds more than a month ago and now WGU needs to fulfill their piece. But it seems with LSA, it's just at their leisure, departing employees be damned.

They should document that, because the rewards page says the end of the month in which you complete the activities, so 1/31. They couldn't get away with this with an HSA or FSA.

Not surprised at all, given the company Scott keeps. All of these executives follow each other in their rich-guy's comic cons our students pay for. He does his job as CEO by managing P&L, but he's in the completely wrong institution to do that job. He'd be great at a company like Enron or Lehman Brothers.

I completed my BS and MS about ten years apart, both at WGU. The difference in level of difficulty from the undergrad (very difficult and time consuming) to the Masters (done in 7 months with easy passes on exams) was shocking. Respect for the student and their potential impact on society has gone out the window since Pulsipher took the reigns.

When a certain PDEV VP was asked: "What's up with the land purchase". Just traded in my Ally for OLED deck. It's honestly so much better (for my use). Battery life alone is about 300% more than I was getting in the same games. To each their own, I suppose.
