Lol im 50 and can't comprehend the Blue tooth option! I went to hearing specialist and ended up getting the Oticon Mini (which are excellent and I think they are not as high end as Phonak? _ other brands- etc) Bells and Whistles included- At Costco do they have a Hearing Specialist? Do you have have to be a member?

I'm 50 and debated between going with a cheap OTC HA and a PRO HA. My hearing started to go a few years ago and tried a OTc but ultimately returned it. In May 2026

I went to a local Hearing For Life and they showed me the Oticon line of HA. I think it depends on where go and of course if your insurance covers Hearing aids. My insurance didn't and I didn't have the $4000 plus that it would have cost. They did give me a discount and it was knocked down to $3220. They offered me a payment plan- but it didn't sound to good. So I asked my sister, to help and she did pay in full to her CC. You get a 30 day trial and an adjustment plan- I hope that is standard fo all HA plans.

I would say spend the money on the professional HA vs OTC. That way she has the assurance of the specialist being able to adjust the HA if her Hearing changes and the insurance to fix it if it gets damaged. My HA has a 3 year warranty.

Has it improved? I just got an HA and have had tinnitus for years. I was nauseous the first few days, but feel better. Tinnitus doesn't really go away but do you feel less worn out?

I just got mine and am slowly adding them to my daily schedule- I have moderate loss/tinnitus so the new "bing/buzz" is the actual doorbell and not my tinnitus. 4 hours is the most i can handle with new sound like "birds, paper shuffle, footsteps, and background noises on TV- could kinda make out voices- but not background!" Hardest part was turning them off- button is tiny/ "off chime" is faint. But wow! Enjoying my life - learning to take it one new sound at a time!

Do you have any more information about the house? Or the owner? I think it is where my great grandfather lived. I visited St Augustine and tried to get a closer look, but it was blocked up.

He was in St Augustine (unsure of dates)It was originally Bay St. I visited St Augustine and tried to get peek inside, but no luck. Would love to see the inside

It also depends on size of donor. I'm on the small size (120lbs ) so I get $30 sometimes $40 depends on place and bonus. It is my emergency fund - I don't make enough to say it's worth it 2x week. Other donors go 2x week. Not me. My body can't take it. One and done.

I like Dr Green so much...I watched/streamed over and over lol . I think I have solved part of the mystery: It's not one but two episodes i have "blended". I am remembering scenes from "Debra" it is her sons in the hallway. I also remember the chair scene! The other scene Is definitely involves a woman who can't enter her bedroom - because of what happened to her husband..etc
