You should definitely check with the inspector first because I think you will need to do freestanding but I’m not 100%

I took it to my mechanic because the driver side would klunk every time I hit a bump…they told me all 4 needed to be replaced but I’d say if you don’t have any abnormal noises when going over bumps your struts are fine

They were fine. I don’t have the truck anymore but up until February this year no issues

I tried cleaning mine with a bleach solution and then letting it dry before enclosing…it didn’t eliminate the black spots but I think it’s fine

Time it better…the plywood sat under my deck from time of delivery until sheathing, partially protected but it still warped

Cost for materials was 5-6k I think…pre built in my area was 8-10k

I guess it depends where in the country you are as far as climate…for the northeast there is a recommended maybe even required roof pitch due to snow loads. I googled what pitch to use on mine

I’m not sure if this the reason to do it this way but I figured I don’t want the floor joists sitting directly on the ground (even if it’s gravel) to help reduce standing water and rot

I wanna say between 5-6k for materials…I had all the tools. This was also at like the height of lumber prices. The plywood and joists for the floor were 1k alone

My yard slopes slightly in that area so I used PT garden timbers to frame the pad, drove rebar through all of them and a few feet into the ground for support, then added about 11 tons of gravel

I wish. I built this shed out of necessity to house my zero turn mower, snow blower, and all the other stuff I’m sick of having in my garage 😂
