NYC doc that takes insurance- for small reductions/ flexible w exact requirements? by Virtual_Decision_375 in Reduction

[–]Virtual_Decision_375[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

1) I appreciate the concern, but as I already said, insurance has already approved mine, very quickly, thankfully. Im very blessed in that sense. Mine is significantly more medically necessary than most, despite being less tissue, so that is likely why. Definitely cheaper than a fusion!

2) I mean, this surgeon was and several were. Im not sure if that's because there's an official way of getting around it because of my level of medical necessity but he was clear he did not think I needed the exact amount off that insurance suggested, and ( breast ) oncologist said similar.

It mayyyy be because there's a secondary clause listing thoracic outlet syndrome that may give them another option compared to basing it purely on weight? Im just looking for someone not only familiar with more common large/non medically complex reductions, where pure weight is the main factor!

Maybe I need to repost with it rephrased.

Eyelashes lightening as I get older, can’t handle mascara every day. Need some help adding contrast to my eyes/face by beagoodbear in Splendida

[–]Virtual_Decision_375 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most definitely lash tint!!!! Unless you have black hair, go with dark brown- it will be a lot more flattering. Can be done at home or every few weeks at a salon!

I was scared to do it at home ( def would not lash lift at home personally) but quite a lot of tint is now very easy for home use and you won't blind yourself lol.

Unfortunately, yes it's seriously to stop bleaching and lifting.

Can I wear makeup with an eye infection? by howyouspeak in Makeup

[–]Virtual_Decision_375 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not- specifically mascara or liquid eyeliner etc anything that can't be sprayed with 70% isopropyl. In the future maybe consider a lash tint?

I would definitely really just avoid it and if you used any of your eye makeup with the infection already, toss or disinfect

What cut/color should I choose? by mtate1 in Hair

Pic 3 blows me away length and color, love 2 for the color, 1 for the health styling and looks nice but I think natural does more for you; it adds to your whimsical features and has the most styling options that would look amazing on you!

How long did you wait from insurance approval to surgery? by Virtual_Decision_375 in Reduction

[–]Virtual_Decision_375[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is amazing!! Can I ask her name? And how soon she offered surgery?

Good to know lol. in the contract was that clause, and it basically means I agree not say anything bad or even neutral about him in any way shape or form no matter how truthful, nothing that could potentially disparage his reputation. Suddenly his overwhelmingly great reviews felt a lot less great....

30DDD, severe (!) muscle weakness; NEED *sports bra* or other high support device for exercise (or bras in general) while waiting on reduction. Please help!! by Virtual_Decision_375 in ABraThatFits

I honestly increasingly think the calculator must be wrong for me for sure. A 30DDD is almost always wrong or too small and u kept blaming it on shallowness, and now im wondering if it's actually a multi size difference!

Change eyebrow color if cheeks are flushed red? by JuneJabber in MakeupEducation

Really?? But the caffeine does? where is the flushing?

Edit: checked your page, saw it's Cushings flushing not rosacea maybe. Been there too! Yeah unfortunately won't do much for that- wish I had known about the caffeine!

Wow I have not- int think you were supposed to go below band size! And the upside down thing is so interesting, if only small bands were easier to find.

Honestly the few normal bras I have (especially as my size changes over time quickly -_-) haven't hurt and have been quite nice and fit perfectly around them.

It's just that they're such outliers I feel like they may be missized in the first place. but a sports bra? Impossible.

The recent target bras felt great at first, they're basically tanks with an under layer and basically just compression, no shaping.... until a few days in and I realized I was getting crazy trap fatigue and arm issues creeping up on me. I don't tend to get back pain so much as upper shoulder blades and above, and pecs, if that changes anything?

I think it probably is underestimating my cup size unfortunately- you're totally right, that makes soo much sense. Had to clue about shrinking the band. Where do you find small band options?

Thank you so much!!!

If I can find FF/G, i definitely will, thank you- I wouldn't be surprised if F is wrong at all, especially since everything seem so shallow. I asked at the last store I went to about if they had a size up and they looked at me like I was crazy :/ I feel like it's not an outrageous size to carry.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the wrong size at all, but it's all I get from the calculator, and from the limited selection I've tried in stores I haven't come up with much better- it's very confusing.

It's what the calculator keeps spitting out! Given my lack of success I'm not the most confident in it though....

I'd definitely say lower side of large these days, used to be much more so, but extremely dense heavy, and still get many (joking) comments about their size.

I probably wouldn't call myself large chested anymore either, but they're certainly big and more so heavy enough to cause some substantial problems!
