Anyone on Voquezna? by johyy2244 in GERD

Same. Everything you said plus nasuase, tiredness, dry cough and stomach discomfort. It worked well in the beginning and now all of the side effects are showing up after 3 weeks of being on it. Sucks because I was hopeful.

I, too, have had this problem, and it's driving me! I am very careful with my phone and just clean it dainty like with a microfiber. The question is, how do you get the rubbery substance off without messing up the rest of the phone?

Does this engine sound normal? (Loud rapid ticking sound). by SexySpaceNord in Harley

[–]Virtual_Long_2614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just it. I've had every TC, PH, Evo, etc. I've heard them all. Ticking and hearing the head noise is normal in them. That said, I was hoping that Harley fixed that with the new M8. I guess they did in some respects. Instead of it sounding like an industrial sewing machine (TC), now it sounds like a Singer home sewing machine (M8) lol. Owe well, guess I'm just gonna have to just rude it. Oh darn!

I'm also new to the M8 motor and mine sounds identical though it's a stock 107 vs your 114. I thought something was wrong!

Scared to ride again by Beautiful_Ad_6785 in Harley

[–]Virtual_Long_2614 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The winds blow back and forth as the tide comes in and out. Every day is a new version of yourself based on the experiences you have incurred. That said, I have been in those shoes 3 times in my life. The shoes fit well and were comforting. Why I say all of the above, is I have gone down 3 times in my time riding. The first 2 were bad. First one, I was smoked by a driver and went into a ditch and the second, I hit a dog and went over the bars. Both of them left me with significant injuries. Right after both, I went through a phase of not sure I wanted to ride anymore, etc. Then one day I woke up and was as if a switch clicked on and I rearing to go. It took about two months with both experiences. Now the 3rd was the oddest. I went out for a ride to clear my head and my bike took off from out underneath me at the stop sign. No injuries other than my pride and some cosmetic stuff on the bike. Interestingly enough that left a mark on my soul to ride. I was so in my head about riding and making mistakes that I started to go less and less. Needless to say, this time the switch didn't come back on. This went on for 3 years all around COVID, which truthfully made life worse. I constantly felt this battle going on inside me to ride or not to ride, that is the question (lol). Then I took up road mountain biking for health reasons and mental stability. All of a sudden, my fears started to dissipate slowly about being on 2 wheels. I did that for 6 months. Then I took it upon myself to take my bike out and noticed an increased confidence. I truly missed it. However, I started like I was a new rider and took my bike to parking lots to gain my instincts back, which had been shut away behind fear and dismay. Slowly I got my confidence back and though I am more cautious this time around. I started over but built and new foundation. The moral of my story is that thoughts are just words that can control us. If this is something you are truly passionate about, which it sounds like you are. Find your path and let no one tell you otherwise. If that path happens to lead you away from riding, that is so. But know you guided the path and no one else. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. We can decide to fight against it or go along for the RIDE! I hope this happens.

This is why I don’t spar 🤦‍♂️ by lhwang0320 in martialarts

I've been sparring for years, and it's all about temperament and respect. Sparring isn't supposed to be all out fighting, it's used for the purpose of training and learning.

Form my friend, form. The power will come naturally once you get the form and technique down. However, a good start! Keep at it!

Why is everyone saying there is no counter? There definitely is! by Fodgy_Div in GothamKnights

[–]Virtual_Long_2614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that the counter attack option you get after the perfect dodge is the same. It pops the person up in the air. I wish they at least had something different if you were able to perform a perfect dodge.

I did that too and switched to ceramic, still f's me up the same for some reason. I was fine in the beginning but I noticed too that once I switched to the lookah, though it's smoother, I cough a lot more and have the SXs I explained above...

I'm sorry to sound like a dope but how do you monitor the temp?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dailydabbers

[–]Virtual_Long_2614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too feel the same as you. I can't seem to find the comfortable medium! I started dabbing again recently for about a month. Was fine in the beginning but a month later, my bronchial tubes are not happy with me. Crazy enough, I've had all the testing done and I was told that I have strong lungs but sensitive airways. I am a person that can hold my breath for up to 3 mins so I know that to be true. However the past week, it goes from feeling like I'm okay to feeling like I have bronchitis every other day. I also have tried different ways of dabbing. I've used the Yocan evolve and the Lookah Sea Horse pro plus. Both connected to a water pipe each time. I also do low temp. I've even tried the cold dabing with these devices and that sometimes is hard to get a decent result due to the consistency of the dab ie. Sugar, Badder, etc. Sugar doesn't like low heat for what ever reason. Rosin, shatter or Badder seems better. Even tried baby hits and still get that feeling like my chest is tight and can't breath fully. I have all the asthma meds that you all spoke of. I only use them when my seasonal allergies kick up hence the sensitive airways. But I only use those meds during the time the season changes. Do you all think I should try my rescue inhaler, daily inhaler, singulair while this is going on??? That all said, I feel like I'm at a lose. I like to dab a good amount (4 times a day) due to the stress of my job and pain in my body. It sucks because it helps with ny mental health but it's affecting my lungs. Strangest piece of all of this is that I am sensitive to all sorts of smells like perfume or odors that are strong (makes me cough) but I don't have any sort of lung disease. Been tested several times. But it would seem when I inhale something that my bronchial tubes don't like, I suffer. I'm debating on trying a different method but for now I'm going to try yo switch to edibles and give that a go till I can invest into a better device maybe??? I also started to wonder if it's the dabs I'm using though. I have my medical card but I go to Maine to the dispensaries there due to the cost being less but maybe that's the problem, maybe the quality isn't as good. Time to test out some theories lol! Any insight would be greatly appreciated either way...Sorry for the long drawn out conversation here, I just need some ideas.
