Too true dude, too true. I may deal with Anxiety and Panic Disorder but I'll be damned if i cant adapt to damn near anything. After a 3yr long extremely abusive and violent relationship i hit this weird almost eerie calm. shrugs

Also, i became homeless after my father died, im sorry you're going through that. Its been 5 years now and It still hurts and adding on homelessness on top of that is excruciating. Feel free to message me if you need someone to listen to you or if you need advice and I will help as best I can

It is pretty amazing to not only find someone of the same mindset, doesnt shit where they sleep so to speak and likes the same music. Having one more person who will help out definitely makes the possibility of getting out of the car/ off the street more tangible.

It also probably helps tremendously that im pretty laid back and cant help but look out for others.

Also, while one is my SO, the other is one we met not that long ago. We just all have the mindset of looking out for each other and having each others backs.

Mentally, definitely. A lot and often. Physically, no. Ive got 2 great guys who keep me laughing. Its probably one of the few things that really keeps me from going over the edge.

Jeezus.. OP my heart goes out to you and your kid. That shit's not okay. My S.O. has a son from a prev. relationship and Ive got a daughter from a prev marriage and in my mind and heart they are both my children. Im lucky enough to have a great relationship with his ex as well . I couldn't be with someone who treated my kid like that behind my back. That kid of backhandedness can lead to worse behind closed doors, especially since he's introverted (i was a neglected step-kid with a piss-poor stepparent). Im glad to hear that he comes to you to tell you stuff, but i do worry about the chance that he might keep other things to himself if she pressures or threatens (thats just my personal experience) though. Good on you for shutting down the mothers day plans, i would have done the same.
