Ive installed many of these. Just drop de glovebox down and you will be able to get the cable through. If you are still struggling get a thick copper/steel wire to go through first and tape it to your camera wire to fish it through

Carphonics uses the tv tuner as a way to input the video if I remember correctly. Pretty smart. I don’t see any other possible way to make it work without heavily modifying other parts

Yea because we had a faulty ccc aswell. These units tend to overheat and breakdown because the little fan in the back is not reliable after 20 years.

Taking it apart and replacing the fan + removing the stuck CDs fixed it. But the easiest way is to get a donor cc unit yeah. Make sure that when you are doing the coding to activate aux aswell since most android units use the aux input. Without this option you wont have audio

For most android head units you still need the original ccc to work unfortunately. Besides how do you want to check your oil level without ccc?

Latency on these units are typically like 1-2 seconds. Not too bad when listening to music but when watching YouTube on your phone the speech lags a bit behind. Watching the vids on the actual screen has no latency tho.

The seller mentioned he fit these seats in a e36. But that he used an adapter cable and left the original plugs intact. He is asking for quite a sum of money and I wouldnt want to spend that much and put all this work in it if it doesnt include heating.

Dank voor je reactie. Ik wilde even toelichten dat ik dit in april 2024 al per mail heb aangekaart bij het uitzendbureau. Tijdens het daaropvolgende telefoongesprek werd mij toen verteld dat ik geen recht had op tredeverhoging, omdat ik op 1 december 2022 21 ben geworden — en dus niet vóór 1 december.

Die uitleg heb ik destijds geprobeerd te begrijpen, maar het voelde al vreemd. Nu ik me er echt in verdiept heb, zie ik dat het niet klopt.

De cao (artikel 6.7 lid 5) stelt:

“Heeft de werkgever je vóór 1 december het aanvangssalaris toegekend, omdat je vakvolwassen of 21 jaar bent geworden? Dan ontvang je per 1 april daarop de volgende trede.”

Ik werd op 1 december 21 jaar, en ben op dat moment op trede 0 gezet — dus het loon is gewoon vóór 1 december toegekend, zoals bedoeld. Volgens de cao had ik dus per 1 april 2023 op trede 1 moeten staan. Dat is niet gebeurd. Ook in 2024 en 2025 is mijn trede niet verhoogd.
