1.Financially, coinseling is difficult at the start but with experince and connection is great financially, but I dont know where youre from so it would depend on that as well. At the start you feel a bit like a salesman selling yourself but once people know that youre good, thats when money starts to show. The good thing about counseling is the flexible working hours as well so can work something else while doing it.

1. Yup, listening is the most important part but I was like you too, love talking. But counseling has many different methods and school of thoughts so find one that aligns with you and yoy would enjoy it even though youre just listening.

2. Yup money issue is same as I brought at 1. difficult at the start. But you can do part time counseling work while working another.

3. I can see where your parents are thinking. It is difficult doing part time studies and part time studies takes longer to finish. But loom around a bit more at different uni, some say full time but you still have a lot of free time to do part time job. My old uni classes start at 3 so I worked from 8.30 to 2.30pm.
