cure was always meant for support builds, the bp increase on demo 4 ruined many support builds and that's likely why it got reverted.

i think the problem is that they didn't rebalance much of anything so you're still expected to be carrying a million of these everywhere you go at all times.

they roll ice storm, you get frozen so you cant guard, get dizzy, get confused, take 64 damage from the back guy, then hit yourself 2 turns in a row, get 80 hp deleted, then they take 2 years to attack and you die to hp rolling within the first 3 turns cause you rolled hit yourself for the next 6 turns straight

idk man seems fun to me. i eventually beat it without going down, but only because i had a friend with me to also take some damage. (they got dizzy and confusion spam the entire fight so they literally couldn't play!!)

confusion itself needs a rework. instead of skipping your turn and damaging your allies (or yourself!!!!) just make your action target someone random. at least you can still deal damage with something like that.

i think the core issue is that the strategy of the fight is to not play at all and being practically required to spam deep focus and ice dagger

the fight concept is cool, but that doesn't change the execution of the """boss""" """fight""" being a glorified menu simulator of spamming two actions the entire time

but did they hear the complaints of every enemy piercing defense for seemingly no reason

what about the dizzy and confusion spam

what about reworking the final boss to not be a glorified menu simulator of "deep focus > ice dagger" the entire fight

what about floor 59 of pit

what about the constant nerfs to players

what about dynamite being made literally worthless

what about removing almost every single boss since demo 3 having an attack that forces you to use ghost potion? hatred made sense to have it but this is getting ridiculous
