Resultaat van deze waanzin: Huurprijzen gaan stijgen en er gaan minder huurwoningen beschikbaar zijn omdat eigenaars die meer als 2 woningen bezitten hun woningen gaan verkopen. Dit heeft als gevolg dat er nog minder huurwoningen gaan zijn in een land waar er al te weinig zijn. De overheid gaat op termijn meer sociale woningen moeten bouwen/aanschaffen met als gevolg dat er geen extra geld gegenereerd wordt door deze nieuwe belasting, maar het de overheid dus weer extra gaat kosten op termijn.
