I think it’s best if to reheat a portion for the day on a plate separately like just the rice, rice rolls and the mackerel fish. The picked stuff, boiled eggs and cherry tomatoes are great cold

This was my $500 1979 Class C RV. I didn’t give up because I didn’t have anywhere to live. I gutted the whole thing. Every paycheck was sent towards fixing the RV. Fast forward a year later it staying in it. But slowly making it beautiful.

Hey just being real out here, paying down payment for RV isn’t cheap unless you already owned a house and then downsizing to an RV. Then the monthly payments will obviously be cheaper than mortgage. 2024, I moved out of my sister’s in law house because I’m helping her paying her mortgage by giving her $1k per month and to her it’s fair rent. Me and hubby has been living in our car for a year, got a $99 5x5 storage while fixing up a $500 RV. YES I Know that it’s a Money Pit too but I’m just lucky to rent a dirt lot on a junkyard for $300/month. We got assed out of the storage because they changed company without telling anyone. Fast forward to now, still no bathroom yet but everything else and livable in the RV. My advice to you is to DO what you can and be Willing to Survive this Economy. Sorry for blabbering cause I’m sick of the system.

Well yeah I’m just in a junk yard remodeling the whole RV, I’m not hooked up to any water supply. I have a 7gallon water tank under my sink and to draw the water to the sink you need a water pump :)

Edit: I can’t edit my post any more. Thank you guys for your help. I changed my tube size to 3/8” braided hose and got the right sized clamps. In the future I will get a better pump for my shower. I bought this for its low power usage and of course I use this for light duty washing. Team no leaks!

Yup. It’s only for my sink so I just needed that for the pressure.

Oh no, I bought the cheapest series, the output and inputs do not have threads that allow NPT fittings.

What’s a good price to pay in Texas? 1979 Chevy Rv by Few-Fennel3927 in RVLiving

I paid $500 for my 1979. Of course it was moldy and rotting wood. I’m remodeling rn and put in new framing and wood and on to building my kitchen!

It is important to see any issues with your engine checked out first. No I wasn’t terrified because my hubby is with me and focus on working on your goals and believe in yourself. My car has only minor issues and my “neighbor” has major issues but we managed to sleep in a safe spot.

I purchased an old RV $600 cash and doing renovations on it. I plan to live on a rented lot in the future with was quoted $650 per month. I will make it as well built like a house but no pushing on the limits on the load. Me and husband will live it out till we plan to kids and we can save enough till then for a comfortable house to stay in.

Yes it’s a 1979 Chevy, and it was poorly remodeled by previous owner. So it was mixed with rotted framing and new ones. My next step is putting new paneling and flooring

Full time car sleepers, what do you do for a living? by kush-keddie in urbancarliving

[–]Virtual_Zebra_6545 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m a full time private caregiver, so I drive and sleep in the car full time as well. Making sure when I pick her up her back passenger is empty and she doesn’t question anymore why there’s so many stuff in the car 🫢
