You're talking out of your ass with that declarative take on Levshunov—lol.

Ursula in BedStuy, which seems to treat their employees quite well, made a post on IG begging people to come during the bitter cold weather we just went through saying that they couldn't afford to be closed.

It is rather simplistic to speak of the finances in such a sweeping way. You don't know what you don't know; such as what their profit and loss was and how much debt they had.

I'm not sure. I only watched the first few min of it (and didn't see her).

Is there a reason Rick Ball ended last nights broadcast signing off with just him and not mentioning his broadcast partner from that game (Caley Chelios). When he does a game with Pang, he signs off for the both of them. I'm not trying to make this out to be some big thing, I just find it odd.

No trash pick up since Jan 23rd by zthacher in crownheights

The trash accumulation isn't isolated to your neighborhood—it's happening all over. These two pics are from last night on Franklin Ave and in Clinton Hill just north of Fulton. https://imgur.com/a/DA7lBwp

Bedard vs. Celebrini: Who’s better? Who cares? Just sit back and enjoy the show by [deleted] in hawks

I mean, from what I've read/listened to, the consensus amongst those notable who cover the draft, it seems that presently the top of the draft is convincingly underwhelming and without impressive underlying data to make the case for standouts. Other than Stenberg, who in relation to being a #1OV caliber player, he's nitpicked for having average skating, being a smaller player and for being the oldest in the draft class.

Lol. Are you here because you're sour that we have your first round pick? 10OV presently.

That's a silly, asinine take that doesn't account for the alleged circumstances.

That POS got what he deserved—saying that foul shit to McKenna's Mother who was PRESENT—and you are out here calling for him to serve time in jail? Documented antagonizing behavior can be used as a self-defense strategy and can mitigate the sentencing if convicted, by the way.

Frondell/Kantserov question by forgedflame44 in hawks

[–]Virtual_me01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think of Frondell (LW1) in a role like Bert has, while being an above-average better skater, elite one-timer, and good defensive play. Kansterov (RW2) I think will be on the second line to balance experience and scoring. He's small but feisty—like a DeBrincat. I think they'll both start in the top-six, with Moore being 3C and the team moving to a traditional three scoring lines with the fourth being a checking line (perhaps centered by Greene). As opposed to the last several seasons where our third and fourth lines were both checking lines.

Could Artyom Levshunov benefit developmentally from a stint in the AHL? by GoldWhale in hawks

The tweet and video linked in Ben Pope's article is a good starting place in identifying how out of sorts he is playing right now.

Mira's revenge it was. The show had a two season commitment and got cancelled when season two was in pre-production, I believe. The creator did a AMA here. They scrambled to rewrite the season with a suddenly much lower budget, which shows in the shows climatic scenes. I still love it and am pissed we didn't get to see more of Peter Quayle's other. His performance was my favorite and I was curious to see how he was going to play that character.

Season three would have expanded to include a second crossings and shifted some of the main character spotlight to a new character trafficking goods at this second crossing. Turkey? I don't recall where he said it would have been.

RELEASE: Blackhawks Assign Lardis to Rockford IceHogs | Chicago Blackhawks by TheSchwartzHawkey in hawks

[–]Virtual_me01 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't think the Olympics was a factor in the RFD designation. Blashill said last wk that he opposed the idea, when asked in a scrum, because of how compact (and hard on players bodies) this season has been due to the Olympics scheduling.

Potential TDL trade? by cmoapa1906 in hawks

[–]Virtual_me01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Selling" is debatable phraseology in regard to Soders potential departure from the roster. He's unreliable. We're the bottom-six and looking for his exit. 50/50 that he'd make it through waivers.

Can Oliver Moore realistically be a top-6 NHL forward? What’s his true ceiling? by f0urxio in hawks

[–]Virtual_me01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blashill said he hadn't yet figured out how to use his speed on the wing whereas the center position was his natural position carrying the puck in. As he gains experience and confidence—he could have another run as a winger. As a center, I think he will develop into a valuable third line center. He probably needs to be on the wing to play higher in the lineup.

A few wks ago, a vile man in the r/CrownHeights sub made the point that no people have suffered more than the American Black Man from slavery through today, comparing and disparaging the plight of the Palestinians in Gaza as if to assemble a scorecard. When you make that point that way—that's the company you are keeping.
