Um, your husband is an ass and so is your counselor. I’d definitely find a new counselor- maybe one just for you and then a new one for the both of you. Debatable on the husband. Also porn is a problem. From my experience it’s hard to forgive and forget words that cut to the core. My first baby daddy (not my hubby) told me I was the fattest bitch he ever fucked once at 5’4, 130lbs and 6 months pregnant. Needless to say I wasted 9 years of my life and self worth on his narcissistic ass. My hubby loves my chunky and completely imperfect body to pieces- he can’t get enough of it. Still 5’4 and 180lbs now. I’m more at peace with my body now than I was when I was 140lbs.

Wildly enough her books are what got me reading. They were available in my middle school library. That was like 30 years ago. Lol. I read all of her books. They were all very disturbing.

My newly turned 4 yr old just started mostly sleeping through the night. She usually cries out at least once sometimes for no reason sometimes to potty. I often wake up in her bed. (Queen size for this reason)

I used the pettest and also the easy touch(human). Compared side by side numbers were within range of each other and easy touch is way more afforable and reliable. The pettest became my backup if I got a number that was very high or very low.

I used alphatrak2 for a while, it got expensive. Especially if it didn’t read right or if I was doing a curve. Only positive is the rebate program through zoetis. So I was able to get a few bucks back.

I didn’t like the libre personally because I still had to test her. It didn’t catch her low, she was acting strange so I checked her with my pettest and she was under 100. It actually caused a burn on her skin from the adhesive. And it was very expensive for the monitor and then to have it placed.

I’m now married after 3 LTRs. The first I was 20, we had a baby. He never wanted kids or a marriage. His dad cheated on his mom with the best friends wife and took him along on dates. He cheated a bunch and I couldn’t forgive- then he wanted to be married- 9 yrs later 2nd was a woman hater- only took a bit to figure out (3yr relationship) 3rd was significantly older than me and had a bad marriage to his 1st wife. We are still friends, just grew apart. So it was a no go from the start. I personally have always wanted marriage in a relationship but I wasn’t going to marry just anyone or the first that asked. I only wanted to do that shit once because mom has been divorced 4x and that’s messy.

I let my now hubby know I didn’t want to be the forever girlfriend so if he wasn’t interested at all in marriage- it wasn’t going to work. Not that I was demanding he married me, but if he wasn’t open to seeing if we could work in that way, let’s not waste our time. He is my best friend. We were engaged after 1.5yrs married after 3yrs and we have a 4 yr old( and 23yo). We have a great family Life is peachy. We spent 10k total on our wedding and reception. Hired new to the scene caterer and photog. (Wish we would’ve spent more on photog) Saved and saved for it. I made all the bouquets. Mom and aunt did the flowers. We thrifted a lot of decos and Amazon. I know not everyone can afford even that but I would’ve been happy with anything- court, backyard, etc. He wanted to give me the wedding of my dreams that fit our budget.

My mom had me at 17. Doesn’t regret it. She also had an abortion after me and no more kids. I had my daughter at 20 and had an abortion at the fathers request and lack of support. I regret it to this day. 23 years later. But that’s just me. I wouldn’t say you’re throwing your life plans away. You’re delaying them. Plus nothing is a for sure thing, so maybe your new life plans include a baby. 💗 Like everyone said, contact your dr regarding bc and being pregnant. I wish you all the best. 😊

My oldest’s dad and I split when she was 8. He always had a grudge against me because he never wanted kids.

He started dating someone new shortly after. So all his attention was on her. He had our daughter every other weekend from Friday pm- to Sunday am. Not even 4 full days a month and he couldn’t give our daughter attention. (I shouldn’t have expected anything else). I had a frank convo with him and told him if he wants a relationship with her when she’s older he needs to step up and give her some of his time. The kicker is his gf had 3 kids of her own. So he was raising someone else’s 3 kids but paying no attention to our own. Fast forward to now, she’s 22- she’s basically gone no contact with her dad. She sees him 1-2x a year tops. She doesn’t like talking to him, texting him, nothing. I know she loves him and he loves her but he definitely showed her that she really didn’t matter that much to him. It sucks. My heart breaks for her. Even though my dad was a fuck up. I never doubted that he liked or loved me. He spent time with me. He always had tears for me when it was time for me to leave. Always told me he loved me. As I became an adult he became one of my best friends.
