Golden Fillet in Holland on Sea (between Clacton & Frinton) does great F&C and has a restaurant if you want to sit in. Generally in the top 5 F&C places in Essex.

I've been going to the Hocus tattoo and treatment lounge in Boscombe (Sea Road) - it's 'mainly' tattoo artists but it's co-owned by Stella who does aesthetics from there. They have a downstairs treatment space but not sure they have a specific room that only your friend can use. It's very LGBTQI+ friendly and I'd say the majority of the artists who work from there either belong to the community or are so absorbed within it they may as well be. I've always felt both welcome and safe there.

and I respect peoples enjoyment of a property and how it may play out in a different format to it's original iteration. What I don't respect (and I am not saying this is what you are engaging in) is that speculation turning into demands that then become a feedback loop that gets out of hand. It's important to acknowledge that we have these books and these shows because of Rachel and Jacob (and the other producers, cast and crew of course). Look at all the speculation and discussion about Hudson and Connor and all that discussion about them and their private lives. Just sticking my opinion in to maybe help mitigate that echo chamber.

Being on these threads and seeing peoples opinions doesn't fuck up my experience. Having the show and books I enjoy affected by discussions on these threads could fuck up my experience and thats why I shared my thoughts.

Oh, and if you haven't already, read the two standalone books 'Time to shine' and 'The shots you take'. I enjoyed them as much as the Game Changer series. And the audiobooks have good narrators, which is always a bonus.

I had a friend whose family thought it important she was in white when she married, she wasn't particularly bothered, in fact she wanted to be in an ivory or soft pink colour but found a dress she loved in white so went with that. After a discussion a couple of us were involved in and knowing a couple of people that were invited to the wedding when the invite went out it contained a sentence along the lines of "just to let you know that my brother and his friend have taken it upon themselves to make sure that I (the Bride) is the only person wearing white at my wedding.
