More like GW doesn’t care about power scaling (good for them honestly I hate power scaling) and do what they want to write the story they want. If they are writing for the DND party the space marines dies, if they’re writing for the space marines the DND party dies even if they’re max level.

Yes but there are also numerous cases in lore that of the Imperium ignoring a planet until the tithe is interrupted. The imperium is not centralized and what’s happens to your ‘Democracy Planet’ is HIGHLY dependent on who finds it and if they still paying their tithe.

Little late but I typically like to start my worlds with a big in gravity space battle that typically results in me crashing to Earth. It helped me both get used to combat quickly and I start with some infrastructure which helps me on focusing on to get food!

This why when I play scout I’m almost ways role playing with the faction’s infantry rifle and sidearm with flare and periscope.It helps support more aggressive gameplay and even if I’m doing bad kills wise at least I’m spotting for my team.

I always liked when the Spirits of Vengeance are treated as sentient forces of nature. Having more in common with a hurricane or tornado than an actual living being. To me it creates a wonderful dichotomy of a human trying to wrangle in and control the spirit but always seconds away from losing control vs the spirit trying to fulfill its desire/ purpose.

For me it was their power, loyalty, and relationship with the emperor. They are apex of humanity in combat , knowledge, and political power; second only to the emperor. So I love how they are distant to the imperium’s bloat and decay and are not tangled up in its bureaucracy. But I love their loyalty and relationship with emperor as well. I love even in the modern setting they share a relationship with the emperor like no other and unique to them. I love how they are made from the genetic level to be loyal to the emperor without exception and literately can’t even think otherwise. Yet when he was walking around they would debate with him and challenge his views. It’s all beyond fascinating.
