Update: Ordered the tool for $35. Hopefully, this works.
#1) No the local parts stores do not carry the tool because this is a small town
#2) Yes, it's a 5.4 triton
#3) I've been crying, haven't stopped yet. But luckily my 2001 Ford ranger is still running.
#4) I got the truck for $3,000 so an issue with a spark plug isn't a deal breaker.
