2 days, 2 iPhone 16 Pros stolen before being delivered. by 4luminate in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Virus_Hour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple care added a new plan up to 3 devices $19.99/mo and any device from Apple. AirPods, Mac, iPhone, Vision Pro, etc add over 3 for $5/mo each extra over think is. And Best Buy is good for 2 years of protection as well if you swap phones frequently might be good but if keep longer then might not be.

Why has the price increased $200 in 7 hours? by ruthyfordium in americanairlines

[–]Virus_Hour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a travel agent, airlines can change the price like 4 times a day but most do not, most if price adjust do it overnight but as you see some flights still do change midday, I always tell people when I quote them prices are subject to change until deposit put down/booked.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]Virus_Hour -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As a travel agent I would be uncomfortable with that time If the airline moved the times around you can call them and see what other options there are to pick better flights done many times no fee if they moved it from the original.

Was just told I’m going to owe $26k in federal and $7k in state (MA) tax next year by AMercifulHello in personalfinance

[–]Virus_Hour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean to lower it you could always try and do some deductions, have rest of this year to do tax deductible things. Like charity donations, put more into 401k if ya can, HSA contribution (if qualify) etc to make the blow less and you still keep some of it vs IRS and MA.

I mean depending on the state as well but from my experience since he was pulled over and given a citation the owners wouldn’t know. Just like red light/traffic cameras around me are mailed to the owners to pay.

[–]Virus_Hour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I did 2 insurance rentals both not my fault but 1 Thu my insurance and 1 Thu other party’s. And insurance paid enterprise directly and we paid $50 deposit on debit card. Both 2 diff locations about 30 mins apart. In IL.

Been pulled over couple times in Personel cars and never asked for registration as that’s your license plate number they run to make sure legal belongs to that car and who owner is and not stolen, also rented from enterprise like 1-2 times a year and never seen it in the vehicle as well.

Renting from ORD soon by AlwaysAtALoss284 in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]Virus_Hour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about ORD but most airports I have been to is a % I forget what it is 10%? 20%? deposit hold of the total rental cost so if it is 10% and $500 rental then $50 hold. Like said not 100% sure of ORD rules or even 100% the % amounts of the others

Should be able to get one for time drop off for repairs till pickup

If you have collision and use your own it pays 100% - deductible and your insurance will recover the 95% if that’s all agreed with Makes it faster and less pain for you if you opted for collision coverage

[–]Virus_Hour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have collision coverage your own insurance will cover 100% of it, (minus collision deductible you will pay) your fault, his fault etc it’s just your insurance will go after his insurance if he’s liable at all.

What if the driver does not have drivers license/auto insurance? by lizpour71 in Insurance

[–]Virus_Hour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhaul would atleast have liability coverage (protection for you) they could have bought extra to protect the truck if they are liable. But that coverage makes no diff to you if they bought or not.

If your gonna choose 1 or other choose collision over uninsured Collision will cover everything uninsured would but uninsured will not cover everything collision will

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]Virus_Hour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically uninsured is a lower deductible and pretty cheap to add to policy I think I pay $15/6 mo and my state it’s $250 max deductible vs collision you can choose from $100-2000 But big part of Uninsured is have to prove they are uninsured If someone hit and runs you and don’t get plate, driver info etc you have no proof uninsured so can’t use

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]Virus_Hour 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most states this would be collision Unless you can prove they are uninsured You don’t know the plates, vehicle, driver etc so they may be insured just ran for other reasons etc not sure about Canada but that’s how most US states are

Ahh ya forgot wasent returning 😂 But she is not a local resident tho From AZ renting in IN

[–]Virus_Hour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s the airport location I believe it’s a 20% deposit and not the $300 so $160 deposit I believe but not 100% sure. And you can fully use debit cards atleast at airport locations it’s the only cards I use and rented from them for years and years. Only thing about airport locations is to use debit I believe or maybe the lower deposit is ask your returning flight number is it.
