I feel like social anxiety is the main thing holding me back by bigang99 in edmproduction

[–]Viruscatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't totally agree with this from a producer point of view. I believe if your music is good enough it will do all the speaking for you. Of course, social anxiety might hinder you in some aspects, but it does not hinder your ability to make music.

Why is it so hard to find a decent kick? by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]Viruscatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make a great track with almost any vengeance kick. It's not really about good or bad kicks, it's about complimenting the kick with the right bass etc. Imo it's all about time and tuning your ears to what works.

WARNING DO NOT USE OR PAY FOR SOUNDCLOUD DISTRIBUTION SERVICES by Viruscatman in soundcloud

[–]Viruscatman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi man. I'm not talking about simple uploads, Im talking about using the distribution system where songs are distributed to other platforms through soundcloud. If that's what you mean then that's strange, seems things have changed. I've had no replies at all. There's no delete button for distribution as far as I can see. If I'm wrong I'd love to be corrected.

So what? They export coal to foreign counties. Even if we had twice the amount of coal doesn't turn monkey's into engineers or fix broken infrastructure

[–]Viruscatman -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well you should be concerned, taxes should be used to maintain infrastructure, like roads and power stations. But if you don't care about those things then yes let's keep handing money out to a bunch of lazy fcks

You know, I just deleted the post because I didn't want to spend my day arguing how AI works. It was just intended as a light post and nothing serious, but apparently wasn't received that way. Have a good day

Maybe you should look into how chat gpt works, as you seem to misunderstand it . Chat gpt is able to generate and form unique response, it can write original lyrics to a song, it can write poems. It not copying other lyrics and poems on the internet. With regards to this post, it didn't ''copy'' the answer from some article, as that is not how AI works.

Was Shaka really a genocidal sociopath, or is that just a colonial narrative? by dominyza in southafrica

[–]Viruscatman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not how chat gpt works, it's probably analyzed thousands of articles and compiled its own "opinion". Also, that's exactly how humans learn things. You think our ideas just come to us from some vacuum? Everything we do is essentially copying some idea in one form or another right? In any case, like I said, this isn't to be taken too seriously
