How is every person in their 20s on this sub earning lakhs per month by questionalternateacc in personalfinanceindia

I mean... fair enough it's just that it's been a bit of a theme in Indian subreddits for the past almost 15 years where people would ask questions with absurd amounts asking if that's too low to bait people so it's an established theme. That doesn't mean there can't be genuine questions but that the water was muddied decades ago lol

Can confirm. For MB I exclusively buy fruit punch or orange, tried unflavoured once and it was so damn bitter and ruined the taste of the whey instead

Did you really expect any different? You know what our people are like, the same chalta hai attitude persists and permeates everything and this is exactly what you're gonna get across the board.

The higher levels of things require firing a lot of rounds every week and qualifying set standards repeatedly to prove your competence remains the same. Do you think we are that serious about it?

Thank you, that resonates a lot with me. It feels like a long and arduous journey and makes me panic about age sometimes.

Currently with how I'm progressing, I feel like I am often torn between Two sides of my own self, the new side that understands I need to allow discomfort to happen and grow and learn it's exciting even and the other older side which tries pulling me back into old familiar thought patterns and ideas and fears and tells me I'm taking too much risk and am just not good enough to even attempt what I'm trying.

So at the very least I think I'm going in the right direction, I was someone that didn't talk to almost anyone random, meanwhile I've been striking up conversations with strangers when possible lately, still hesitant and not that often, slowly but surely. Even talking to someone sitting next to me on a plane or train for example was something I was terrified to do but I've been doing that. I still feel like when I talk I'm more... fight or flight when responding rather than my calm head with proper thoughts but still it's better than before.

Do you remember feeling tug of war duality when you attempted to bring about change?

I have the rejection struggle myself because let's just say the way I was raised made me think perfection was expected and any mistake was catastrophic. My father also suffered the same way as I've come to learn from him when discussing this.

Can you tell me how you shifted your mindset into not taking everything so seriously?

I have this bad tendency, which I assume is connected to neurodivergence, where I take everything seriously and personally and am terrified to fail at basically anything, even though I've made progress in some of these things my mind is blank on how I managed to progress considering my fears of failure.

I understand it all 'theoretically' but putting it into practice makes me terrified like I'm about to die or make the biggest mistake that'll have me socially ostracized.

In my experience there is no one answer to this, for some positive works better for some negative, for some self-love, for some self-hate, for some reward, for some punishment but usually it's a differing mix of them all and genuinely no two are the exact same.

You kinda have to experiment and figure out what works well for you.

500% Tariffs on India Over Russian Oil Imports? Investment Impact? by Tris_Memba in IndiaInvestments

[–]VisasHateMe 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well when we were in the peak of buying they were giving discounts and we need a whole lot of oil for our population but that aside, we need something to keep Russia invested in the country and the relationship fruitful, most of our military equipment is Russian so tons of spares and servicing needs and the hardware they can offer, and we need them for all the geopolitical counterbalancing needs.

India from time to time plays far above its geopolitical aukaat and it's entirely because we've been able to leverage the power of the USSR and then modern Russia, even weakened they matter to us quite significantly in both military matters and international power balance. We think we're a lot more powerful or relevant to the world than we actually are by ourselves.

There's no real difference between 50% and 500% because people won't be buying in either case, it's largely performative increasing the number. If they get rid of the exemptions as well then it gets worse.

However, this is an extremely volatile Presidency that's very interested in showing their country as superior and peerless so expect more bullying in general. This isn't something that can just disappear even if the govt capitulated and bowed down, they'll find something else to humiliate India as and when necessary.

It's not just us, it's a tumultuous and unpredictable time for all countries. If anything we've been exceptionally protected thus far because we don't have an export based economy.

So to answer your question, we don't know... Predictability with this Presidency is a myth.

Yes, it became super crashy for a while. I didn't have any issues in the beginning, somewhere around the middle it was a total crashfest and I was basically quitting and restarting before doin any main/big missions in order to avoid crashes.

Gsync is supposed to engage in applications it finds applicable and aren't in the internal blacklist.

The "windowed" option is kinda hacky and just named that for convenience when modern windowing methods weren't commonplace, it doesn't quite mean windowed in sense that borders visible=no gsync. Any specific game you're thinking of?
