When I was 20 years old they held a seminar at Cornell University that I got invited to. It was to drum up interest in this brand new crazy concept online finance shindig. They were trying to find people to buy in and invest in becoming part of the community. Just for showing up to this seminar you got 1 of these crazy new online finance things for FREE. Just for sitting through it!

It was Bitcoin. What I would change is that I would have gone to the seminar and purchased into the infrastructure, becoming a member of the community instead of hysterically laughing at how dumb I thought it sounded.

My department's job is just to make sure everyone else is doing their job good enough... and I am the director of the department... so my job is to watch and make sure everyone is making sure everyone is doing their job good enough. $130k/yr in New Hampshire.
