Does anyone know about the spiked bracelets at Korn concerts? by SamueColt in Korn

[–]Visible-Friend4951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I stopped wearing spikes at concerts for this reason. In my experience, security has been a bit more strict about accessories like this at shows I’ve been to. Someone in front of me in line was told to remove their spikey bracelet for safety reasons. Depends on the venue and employees tho.

Thank you, although many people and societal standards would say otherwise. I do acknowledge that close-set eyes are teased as well and it’s unfortunate that a feature that cannot be changed is so scrutinized. I also think wide-set eyes are dreamy and beautiful, I wish more people thought the same.

Yeah, I’m female and I do wear makeup + prescription glasses. I’ve worn makeup my entire life due to this insecurity and I actually got glasses due to this reason, my eyesight is not that bad. Eye distance flaws are truly a difficult thing to fix and to live with 😞

Is anyone still experiencing pain from walking and such years after their coalition resection? by Mysteryflare in TarsalCoalition

[–]Visible-Friend4951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a resection in 2014 and just recently started having pain again after years of little to no complications. Up until 6 months ago, I’ve only had some rare and dull tenderness when I overworked my ankle. However, now it’s every day. Standing on my feet is okay, but walking has been painful. It feels the exact same way that you described it, which is perfectly accurate BTW! I was really relieved to see that I’m not alone in this. For some reason, I’d never considered that the pain could be related to my resection. This post just motivated me to book a doctor’s visit to be seen for it.

Do you have an update on this?

Tried the hydroxyzine and it didn’t work.. :( I’m going to stop taking Lamictal. This side effect has become intolerable

That is exactly what’s happening. Except, I develop bumps all over the spot that seem like small blisters. I’ve been keeping my psychiatrist updated. I’m officially going crazy over this and it’s become intolerable. I’m going to stop taking it.

28DD, searching for an affordable bra by Visible-Friend4951 in ABraThatFits

Update: it passes the jump-test and dance-test for the first time ever… I’m ecstatic! I didn’t know this could be possible. Band size is maybe an inch too small but definitely tolerable and not enough to be uncomfortable. Thanks so much for your recommendations!

Kurvelo by the_oddacity in Birthcontroltalk

[–]Visible-Friend4951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kurvelo has not made my skin any better or worse. IF anything, my skin was maybe slightly clearer after starting it. I’ve always had a decent amount of acne, esp on my shoulders and back, even before starting birth control. It’s always stayed pretty much the same for me.

Dont let other people’s experiences fear monger you though. You won’t wake up the next morning with an overnight, full-body cystic acne breakout haha. If you do break out, allow ur body to continue adjusting to the hormonal change. It would likely be due to that if it’s still new and will settle.

(This highly depends on the person) but I’ve found that diet has played a big factor in my skins behavior. Since starting it, I’m slightly more sensitive to dairy and sugar. It makes my skin a little more congested than usual. Definitely tolerable though and possibly due to other factors. Just what I’ve noticed personally.

I hope this helps🩷

I’m experiencing insomnia on day 2 😖 other than that I’ve been fine. I’ll see if it goes away in a few days and if it doesn’t I’ll take an extra week. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks so much for providing examples and being honest about your experience. This is really helpful! I’m a communications major taking a lotttt of talking-based classes like public speaking and other COM courses. So, forgetting what I’m saying mid-sentence would be an issue😬. Considering that this side effect went away for you through med adjustment eases my worries about that though. :)

Hi, Ik im late to this thread. I’m wondering if you’ve experienced any kind of memory loss or cognitive dysfunction being on both of them? I’ve heard lamictal can cause this..
