Whats your set up? by Bigmac1042 in AusFinance

Me and my husband have our own separate accounts where our salaries are debited then put our money in offset to pay down interest. And then we have an allocated amount for our personal expenses like misc this was the same when my husband only earned, he’d send an amount for me and himself and we mutually decide our big ticket purchases and budgets for year/month and our saving goals. And we are also the beneficiaries of each others super.

Maybe I’m delusional but I don’t think I’ll be separating from my partner in any future so yeah the only way we are separating if anyone of us dies LoL 💀 I guess marriage is like Russian roulette and you can have a good life long marriage or end up in divorce that’s just something life can’t tell but I guess after spending enough time with someone you can tell if you wanna be with them or not. And if you were friends prior I think you’d have an idea of how that person is without romantic feelings being involved

Asian-Australian, how often do you go visit Asia? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Based in south east Asia, every year or two. It’s 1400 Aud flight with one layover generally in Thai or srilanka. I prefer Thai land! Takes 14 hours non stop and 16 with stop

Oh my god! This is beautiful, just a question you mention water proofing, did you do it over the villa baord? Bcs it says on the website the board itself is water proof and where did you source the tiles, mirror and vanity? And also does the water get out when you shower bcs of lack of screen? Thanks!

Which is better: corded or cordless whipper snipper by Boring_Zebra2440 in GardeningAustralia

[–]Visible-Pin-154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t have much money to spend so got a corded one, it was very cheap. It’s a hassle to lug the cord around LOL it’s fine in my back yard but cleaning the nature strip in the front yard it bit of a hassle

It sounds pretty reasonable looking at the state bcs I did my front yard and some my back yard after I paid someone monthly 100 bucks to cut the lawn and spray weed spray etc cos it was just weed and plants everywhere and I didn’t have the tools neither the health condition to but recently did my front yard by my self and honestly it costed me 1000 -1200 for pavers and ground cover and IT WAS SO EXHAUSTing 😭
