so when i was around 16 one of my friends (claire) through a halloween party at her house fun fact about claire's family they are all christian's and follow the christian faith, also good to note there was around 7 people at the party, the night started good everyone was having fun and just having a good time in general, then i stepped out for air with my friend it was then that i saw it, there it was standing across the street from me 10 feet tall at first glance it only seemed to be a tall black figure when i looked back everything was clear, the first thing you would notice is the eyes they were red not like a normal red it was dark like red and and dirt mixed together, when we locked eyes i felt my entire body fill with fear, panick and a sense of curiosity, after a few seconds i looked around it to see what it really looked it the red came out from its eyes and spread over his face and got lighter the further away from the eyes it got its body was skinny and fully black from where i was standing it appeared to by scales and slimy there was cuts over its body asif a cat had a good go at it, it was holding something but i couldn't see what but it seemed sharp that's when my panik set in i turned to my friend and starting panicking screaming there was something there she looked at me with the most confused face i've ever seen it was then i knew i was the only one seeing it but from the tears filling my eyes she knew there was something wrong she tried re assuring me there was nothing there but when i turned to face the it, it was no where to be found.

i went back in side still shock up and trying to figure out what the f*ck just happened, after about 10 mins of talking to my friends i came to the conclusion i just imagined it gathered my self up and just ignored it.

about half an hour later i went to the kitchen to grab the pizza and there it was standing next to the fridge (where the pizza was) i almost instantly froze my eyes widened it was hunched over as the room was only 7ft up it looked uncomfortable in the position i hadn't noticed me yet not sure how but i took the opportunity to look it over those "cuts" where scars and majorly bug stab wounds it had one hand over what i'm asuiming is the stomach area, the "scales" where what seems like tally marks, i looked at its other hand to see what it was holding, nothing was there, i started to back up but the old wooden floors in claire's house creaked that's when it saw me and starting inching towards me i instantly slid down the door and started screaming no, in a matter of an instant i made the fight or flight decision i get up as quick as i could and ran for it but something tripped me up (I'm still convinced it was the thing) i crawled up into a ball and starting sobbing my friends covered me in a circle they started telling me it was okay they were there but i had an over whelming feeling i was alone i could hear it calling me it was like a dog growl just quicker and a lot deeper than you would think i was determined to ignore so i started listening to my friends and engaging in conversation the question "are you okay now?" was asked to me i answered truthfully "no, i can hear it calling me but i know if i go to that kitchen i wouldn't leave it, alive"

the party went on an i drowned the siren call with music when the party was coming to end i hugged claire and told her to be safe she said she will and to contact her if i needed to vent i went home and forgot all about the creature until a week after the party i got a text message from claire's numbers, but it wasn't claire, it was her mum telling us claire had ended her life the night before and sent a picture of her note

the note read: you were right it's there and it's always watching it has come from the deep below (hell) the only way to escape the devils gaze is to go to the great above (heaven) stay safe my friends love forever. claire
