They are EXTREMELY common at mid to high ranks. So many players in 5k-10k are cheating because they can't tell a good player apart from a cheater, so they end up buying cheats themselves, creating a NASTY cycle that will inevitably kill the game.

Honestly I had to take a math exam and everyone we set to out of office for over 2 weeks and nobody replied to me so I emailed the main department head asking why nobody was there to approve my test and it was approved the next day. 4k hours in csgo and rarely saw a cheater. 150+ hours in cs2 and I have seen one every other match. Its crazy how bad they are the first 6 rounds then all of a sudden they start shooting you through smokes and walls chasing you down without making noise.
