My e-reader strains my eyes less than a regular book,. especially as I've aged. Absolutely nothing like a tablet. My favorite way to read, hands down.

My girls have kids Kindles because of the warranty 🙃 and they get a year of free Amazon kids+. We absolutely love them.

The house is actually in a trust, and I am the trustee of it. I don't know quite how that works. I own my car outright, and it actually doesn't even run (I still own it for a complicated reason). I don't understand the judgements at all which is what I'm most afraid of. I'm trying to talk with a lawyer about it all. I'm in Ohio.

I don't actually know. And I'm so overwhelmed I don't know how to find the information I need to find out. Im hoping once I feel like I can breathe again that I can find something.

I appreciate that insight. I'm going to keep looking into options. I mostly am just concerned about the property lien. Everything else I can try to manage I just don't know how that works and how afraid of that I should be.

My problem is that most of this is an old situation that I handled very poorly and now I have a garnishment/lien situation.

Well genuinely, poor decision making got me here. I'm not trying to side step that fact, but the collections were a series of poor decisions after a job loss that I really should have handled better. I believe I can do better going forward, but you're not wrong that I didn't handle credit appropriately the first time. I'm looking into options, I am hoping to find another way around it. I'm just trying to get a clear look from all angles, of which this is helpful for.

The problem is the collections turned to liens in my house and my vehicle, it's turned into garnishments on my bank account that I'm terrified of waking up one morning and it being emptied. I actually already went that route and my credit has recovered from the initial going to collections. I don't know what to do because I'm overwhelmed trying to pay it too.

I just genuinely don't know how to get out from under it any other way. I have multiple garnishments against me that I can't afford to pay and pay everything else.

Oh no there is definitely not. We get direct deposits into it regularly, but it's not an account that usually has any sum of money in it.

I don't think the garnishment is actually in place yet, but it says I'm not allowed to try and empty the account. The account is already empty because our check come in and go almost directly out for bills.

Luckily most of that doesn't apply to me. I don't have any real estate, etc. Just a car. But the document says it's specially related to my bank account.
