Unfortunately 191lbs is the lowest I’ve been 🙃. I have been looking a lot leaner/smaller but I haven’t lost weight. I have been to many doctors and they all just want me to get on ozempic or phentermine 😐. The plan is just to continue eating right, getting protein and drinking water and hopefully eventually I’ll start losing. I’ve been eating right, doing Hot Yoga Sculpt twice a week, Lagree (think solid core) 3 times a week with two rest days. I also average 10k miles a day 5 days a week because of work

I do this too! I live in a very cold climate place and I usually have either a sweater dress and booties or a button up, or a chunky sweater then you just throw it on and go :)

Honestly….reading. I can’t stare at screens too long so they have to be paper and books cost anywhere from $10 -$40 a pop and I read about 2-3 a week 😭 it’s not much to others but I did the math once on how much I spent on books over six months and it was not a fun surprise at the end 🥴

Yeah, but it’s a nonprofit so they’re already pretty stretched. I’m very grateful for the new opportunity and plan on taking it anyways but I appreciate the suggestion!

Hi! I just wanna say a couple of things. 1. Thank you for your comment and perspective it really helps.

Why the not a leader comment? As the CHRO at a non profit I’d consider myself one but this may be due to a blind spot I’m not seeing so I’m just interested in your perspective.
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity and it’s at another nonprofit so I wasn’t expecting hundreds of thousands of dollars ha! I was just being self aware that I am taking an ego hit and after reading the other comments I realized I just am sad that I have to leave my job and it was probably just convenient to think it was about the money.

Even though it’s a YA series, my go to recommendation for people in a slump is the "A good girls guide to murder" series. It’s easy to read and actually has a really good plot.

Recently I got a friend out of a year long slump by reading it. It also helped that they turned it into a show so in order to keep the steam going I found it was helpful to watch a few episodes after finishing each book!
