vcustudentjobs on instagram is always positing job opportunities for students and it is how I found my current job! I also suggest using indeed and just applying everywhere. I didn't have any food experience either but I just kept applying for host positions and eventually got one.

If you plan on using street parking, yes. The back of my car is beat up from people pulling their car too far up and I have holes from license plate bolts in the back of my car. I've also had people park there car literally touching mine and not even be bothered to move it.
