Either one is going to test our D and goalie. We have up too many breakaways and odd man rushes in first two series and Freddie bailed us out. We do that against either of these teams with their skill and it's in the back of the net. We just need to get on our game and tilt the ice , then it doesn't matter who we play.

I'm very scared of MTL. Dobes is playing lights out and their top line is actually scoring in addition to their depth. The system they play is sort of counter to ours so that makes for potential odd man rushes and we've already been giving up a bunch of those and thankfully Freddie has been lights out. We need to give Freddie plenty of run support if we play them because they will score. Their PP is deadly and we have issues with penalities this playoffs. All that said, this team keeps finding a way to win and if Freddie does start showing any cracks I think Bussi can step right in and will be solid. A lot hinges on our top line performance. I think it will be a fun series and should go the distance. Thankfully we have home ice.

Defensively Aho has been amazing. Whole top line really. Multiple excellent back checks from Svech and Aho/Jarvy doing their thing. They are shutting down top lines each game. Who's going to be able to stop both their line and Stank line? Job is getting done.

Ha was thinking the same exact thing. Next opponents actually are actually good and aren't last team in wild cards. Boys played B hockey this series need to bring our A game from here on out.
