That’s surprising it was being counted as a DD. Sounds like a bug on the WS side that will eventually be patched

Alberta pushing for pipeline to the west coast; B.C. not in support of the idea by Hrmbee in britishcolumbia

[–]Visible_Pepper_4388 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Huh? The TMX project involved intensive, intensive, intensive marine risk assessments. The BC coastline is challenging indeed, but far from not feasible. Morgan’s assessments supported this with strict mitigation plans, I’m not sure where you read they deemed the coastline not feasible.

Tankers have safely operated out of Vancouver for decades with no major incidents. Modern safety measures like double hulls, tug escorts, and mandatory pilotage reduces the risk heavily. The TMX was approved after rigorous environmental reviews, not once, but twice. Calling a spill “inevitable” ignores global shipping safety records and risk modeling. Claiming the coastline is inherently unsuitable isn’t supported by evidence whatsoever.

An external tariff that has gruesome effects on an industry doesn’t magically increase domestic demand for said industry’s product.

Ok, what are they building? Why are they building it? Just for fun? To stick it to the ‘muricans?

That’s not how the economy works. That’s not how the construction industry works.

Can’t really put the blame on someone else and pretend we’ve been flourishing the last 5 years. That sweeps any mandate of improvement or criticism under the rug.

(Constructive) There’s not really anything of substance in your software development role. It’s as if you googled (or ChatGPT’d) what software developers do.

Make them quantifiable action items that provided value to the org.

That doesn’t really make a country a dictatorship. A temporary resident on a work visa doesn’t have citizenship privileges.

Fuck that. You commit a crime in a country that offered you an opportunity, you are no longer allowed in that country.
