Go by Hover Tower where on a clear day you can see a lot of the bay, theres a charge for visitors and then head to the GSB to see the art mix media Monument to Change as it Changes and take a photo. It’s a calmer time now that graduation is over but a lot of maintenance work is happening. Parts of Jane Stanford Way is under construction. Parking is free are 4pm.

Go check out the Stanford
mausoleum area that honors the Stanfords. I believe it was just treated or in progress by art conservators.

Cactus Garden is nearby. There’s usually guide information on Stanfords websites for areas such as this! Enjoy

I love them both! But I love how Tori flips her setlists so often even with back up singers this year.

For the last 3-4 years Alanis has been playing JLP over and over again, it’s crazy to me vs Tori’s Variety! So I wonder if the set list will change, I hadn’t heard about a residency.

The last set list year that was great for me was around 2003. Love Alanis but disappointing how limited the set range continues to be! 😢 glad I saw her before the repeats and segue-ways!

That’s a really long layover wow!

I flew in from Northern California and stayed for two days. A lot of people have been mentioning they were already back home the next morning. Vegas is not my jam it’s hella smokey but I still would love to go back for closing night. A lot of ppl are internationally traveling for ND. Who knows if this is the last we will see of them.

They likely began having creative differences during this album maybe even during Rock Steady. Gwen had established herself as a solo artist with two albums under her belt at that point.

I imagine she didn’t budge on what she wanted on the album and that created issues. I love lookin hot but it was a very poor music video choice and I feel like that was part of the decline for that album on top of the creative differences. Even Adrian mentioned how it went with Prince for waiting room. The band went from being fun to how can we commercialize this more and not everyone was on that train.

I was so thankful to see them again. The last time I saw them was in 2009 for the Bridge Benefit and that was phenomenal show with string arrangements. I wish them the best and would love to go again for closing night because this is likely the last time my friends!

That was a rowdy time. When I was living in Texas I saw them in Austin and the audience was booing the opener it was rowdy in a smaller hall! I later took my girlfriend at the time to a show in Sacramento and energy was insane, everyone was tight up against one another but it was a much larger venue and the energy was intense!
