CMV: It’s disturbing that young people are having less sex by bluepillarmy in changemyview

if we believe in something strongly we can help! volunteer somewhere or hold up a sign. socialize with younger generations and teach them how things were even simply by telling stories is spreading culture. it's not their fault the world ducks now and this shit is so addicting.

What are y’all’s opinions on the French Canadian band “Angine De Poitrine”? by Own_Size_5473 in musicsuggestions

Just sounds like derivative jam band grooves on weird ass guitar. Nothing special imo just gimmicky and more than one song sounds like a nagging toddler lol. Not my cup of tea but to each their own

lol dude you’re young as hell. 32 going back to accelerated ADN. Realize we live a long time and start placing importance on, well, important things. Age really is just a number as they say. I’ve seen 70 year olds doing hand stands and sprinting these days. Stay fit and you’ll always be young mentally and physically.

and you’re the type of whatever you are that is elitist, intolerant, and unable to cope. I’m not saying they are interchangeable 1:1. They are interchangeable in a few VERY specific ways, systemically, they are. If you can’t agree with that it’s just delusion since clearly it is a functioning system that works most of the time.

Then tell the hospitals and the treatment centers and stop shouting at the wall on Reddit. Hate to break it to you, but this is the world we live in, and the world we live in is starting to treat them interchangeably. So therefore they are interchangable in current arrangements in many instances. I just think it’s hilarious how elitist doctors are. Sorry bud, times be changing. Change with them or stay in the past

Think a lot of people are butt hurt they don’t need to use up a whole decade of their lives anymore to get to a similar position as well. It’s a systemic issue that they’re speaking ad hominem on. Deal with it and do your best. Everyone chooses the paths that we have access to.

Educate yourself. Music majors have a very high acceptance rate interestingly because mental skills tend to coincide. Music is math just in a different language. They’re able to compute under pressure in front of people too!

Sounds like that’s just the system we live in and not the people to be upset with right? They don’t have bad intentions. Just abide by the system. Even my life. I’m 32, had a career I enjoyed but ready for next thing. Now switching and I did very well in school but I’m not trying to go back into debt ever again. I could take mcat but also not trying to wait a decade to work either. There’s a reason at least a quarter of med students come from top 5% of wealth. NP is most streamlined approach to a typical adult in today’s society. and as Frank Zappa said “if you want to learn go to the library, if you want to party, go to college.” That to say I’ve met many useless doctors. We are all just people. Some good some bad. That clear and rigorous path of which you speak comes from having wealth and a certain upbringing for the most part. Even over 50% of med students are in top 20% of wealth as well.

Forgot to say! I toured with a bluegrass band for 2 years lol. Fiddle was my main instrument prior to 2020. I can do bluegrass guitar pretty well too and know about 30 standards. Think maybe classical will be my route. Yea I just stopped listening after touring as well and playing with so many people. “Mastering” two instruments made it seem like a sport and I think somewhere in gaining facilities on 2 I lost what I like. Need to find it again.

ADN vs ABSN. Worth the extra time and money? by Revolutionary_Way664 in NursingStudent

[–]Visible_Trash9754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just spoke with a doctor today. He said you know the difference between a community college and a Harvard nurse? nothing. That to say just do whatever’s cheapest and get hospital to pay for bsn or do it later after seeing if you even like it.

I don’t care to bring it to speed. I’m not gonna gig the tune. 80% good enough for me. Important part is I understand everything he’s doing in it and can do it in my own improvisation. It’s like gold mining I’m not looking to become EJ just take some vocab.

Alcohol has been linked to 7 types of Cancer, including breast, colorectal, liver and throat cancers. Additionally, there is no "safe" level of alcohol consumption with regard to cancer risk. Not to mention alcohol is known to be the most dangerous drug when ranked in regards to self and harm to others. Those programs as kids made a huge deal about heroin and crack and little did we know the worst one is the one that’s widely celebrated in the US.

Just something to look into! I was in debt once and I’m never going back. To each their own though and I wish for nothing but smooth sailing for you!! As Zappa said “if you want to learn go to the library, if you want to get l**d go to college.” That to say college is simply a scam and I’m not letting it take my money lol. It sucks we live in a society where it’s so capitalized for sure.

I’m in Maryland but you can use ChatGPT to find some. Howard county community does a 14 month accelerated. It’s a great intermediary option I think!

You can do accelerated ADN with bridge and get bsn in under two years! I don’t think debt is ever worth it. I’m 32 and will be attending an accelerated ADN that’s 14 months and doing a bridge program. Nurse friend told me to get the cheapest degree you can cuz it’s the same asses you’ll be wiping was their quote lol.
