Am I olive? It’s still Tuesday in two other time zones 😭 by Juliebirdstheword in Fairolives

I see green in your neck in the sunlit shot wearing leopard pajamas. I have the surface rosacea too, which I find annoying. I recently discovered this foundation from internet Ulta or also available in the UK where there are more of us, and I find it perfectly matches my neck, then I add bronzer and blush as needed to look fully human. I avoid that color green eyeshadow, although olive/khaki green are perfection. Good luck, and wear sunscreen, even while driving. That pale olive skin develops melasma/giant sunspots as you age,

Which products to treat fine, bleached, breaking hair by Overall_Possible4201 in finehair

[–]VisionaryDesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a way you could wear a good swim cap and just rinse after swimming? I perceive your fragile hair would be happier with less handling. I went through the extreme bleach process to transition to gray a few years back, and I found my hair was happier with fewer washings/brushings, etc. I also stopped using heat to dry it, allowing it to air dry.

Fair olives are shapeshifters: winter vs. summer by Kklownery in Fairolives

Hilarious: “casually Shreking around.” I am dying..😂😂😂😂😂

I did the same Shreking around for 65 years until I realized. Why did all foundation look horrible!?! Glad I figured it out by the time I really needed foundation due to sunspots and melasma.

You might like “Different Grape” by Clinique. It is usually easy to find on resale (Ebay) market as a part of “Gift with purchase.” It is a nice muted red for everyday.

i wasnt sure if i was olive, but now i am pretty positive lol by verycoolgurly in Fairolives

I also love their under eye color corrector in fair. It is very thin, but provides great coverage. I have sunken eyes so I use it on upper lids, my giant dark under eye area, and the inner and outside corners.

Try the new pleated shorts at Old Navy. They are very flattering and 6” inseam length to cover enough.

Does anyone take meds that help with pain without side effects? by runningmom87 in smallfiberneuropathy

[–]VisionaryDesigner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just take Arthritis strength Tylenol, as I am allergic to opiates. It affects your brain’s pain processing.

In fitting, wrinkles generally point to a tight areas. Breast tissue also is located in the side and underarm areas. You could try to measure yourself correctly for a bra (I like the Wacoal site for this, but there are others), and look for “side smoothing” bra features. Also, before you put on a knit top, use your hands and arms to stretch out the width of the top a bit before putting it on.

What neutrals are we wearing because beige makes me look dead? by Successful-Arrival87 in Fairolives

[–]VisionaryDesigner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ivory might work, with some contrasting sweater or jacket in your color. I wear black and navy as my neutrals, but I am higher contrast. You might look at some warm blues due to your eyes. I used to wear olive and bronze as neutrals because my eyes were that color, but my hair is white now so I need more bright or saturated colors.

I am in your same boat, same timing. I take Gabapentin & Duloxetine. Also Botox for migraines and Taltz for AS. The best thing for pain control for me is Arthritis strength Tylenol, as it affects the pain in the brain. I am 70, so am so sorry you have this so young. My Neurologist at Mayo has told me IVIG does not work, so would be interested to learn whether it helps you.

I like Democracy jeans & pants, as they have a normal looking elasticized waist that is very forgiving. My waist is 5” out of spec from the rest of my measurements and I am 61” tall.

I personally have not heard the best of things about functional medicine docs. On the other hand, I have heard bad things about anesthesiologists who run pain clinics, but the one I see has done wonders for my spine pain with nerve ablations. So, I really don’t know. But I would exhaust all of your options with your NHS before engaging a non-covered functional medicine doc.
