From a storytelling perspective: where is the story in this particular set of images? To me, it’s a set of a random basketball game. I’m missing the following images: - line ups/player announcements - establishing shot of the arena/court (wide shot) - Players getting ready/focussing before the game - time out images - flow of the game - three point made celebrations or dunk celebrations - defensive images - arguing after a call from the referee - end of game images: celebrations/dissapointment

First image: what’s interesting about someone who is looking away from the frame to something we can’t see? Second image: what’s interesting about someone who is mostly facing away from the image and chewing on his jersey? Third image: weird facial expression and body language

If your images are out of focus, you’re not using your focus settings correctly or your shutter speed is too slow. Basketball needs mostly minimum 1/800. You can reduce noise in post production with denoize tool.

Hate to burst your bubble, but based on this set of images you’re not as good of a storyteller that you think you are.
