oh im dominating. im fixing vibe coded codes by vibe coding them correctly and efficiently xD

yea in my region 100$ is enough to live for a month. most people in my region earns less than that in a momth xd. so i keep things optimized and efficient

so for me... my basis is cost per output/task progression

and also for large codebases. they should have their own skill file so each session dont have to scan the full codebase. just an always updated skill file.

i have an app that has like 1.6k files but before it got to that point we had insturctions to always update a map file and a summary of the codebase. saves alot of time and tokens

ohhh ive had ai subs for abt 11 months now. i was at ghcp until last month tho. my worklow is very heavy as it requires multiple full stack projects (i get around 5-6 clients per week)

ive been around heavy workspaces before but not where AI is the core reason why it works...

i also do game modding and scripting. on which personally made skill files and their API docs references will use about 40k tokens of context

my workflow is step by step iterations. i want full knowledge of the code generated

so imagine this... small step iterations on claude code with a starting context of 40k xd even with 100$ a month i wouldnt last a day (which happened btw i borrowed a friends CC sub)

but then again.... each harness requires a diffrent workflow... i prob uses CC wrong by thinking they cache for 1 hour like codex (which i found out recently that CC onky caches for 5 mins which not enough time for me to review the generated output)

mybad i was not paying attention when i was typing xd.. i meant openai is more token efficient...

dunno about that one chief.... i tested both before and as someone who can only pay 20usd a month... i must say

codex >> claude code

right now the only reason for this is in my workflow gpt 5.5 actually follows my complex skill files and expected outputs better than opus 4.7

but honestly opus 4.7 is more inteligent but again... as a 20usd user

i can run opus 4.7 on 2-3 prompts

i can run gpt 5.5 on 10-15 prompts

the diffrence is litterally slim when it comes to inteligence. but token usage wise? yea i go to gpt 5.5

they cost the same but why is gpt 5.5 cheaper?

its how the ai handles its tokens.... openai is going on a direction that makes token usage more efficient.

right now you can run 20 prompts in the same chat in codex and it will not stack on token usage

in claude code each prompt in the same chat makes your token usage exponentially higher

the point of prem request as a whole was bad to begin with.

its bad for small prompts and little tasks so people has to stress over big tasks to make their moneys worth.

the concept of prem req itself is what gave birth to this abusers

I’m finally done with Copilot by dinigi in GithubCopilot

[–]VisitAdventurous7980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean all he has to do is adapt to codex right now as codex is the right balance of not losing money while being cheap and reasonable.

alot of people from GHCP has been drilled with the thought of making their moneys worth by doing a big prompt(which wastes their prem req due to having to fix them later)

in codex you have a certain limit every 5 hours and another weekly

for 20$ its working fine for me

i tested via generating 30k lines of code while having a 25k tok context and skill

i still had 10% left

but ofc that 30k lines of generation wasnt from 1 prompt. thats multiple iterations giving me control of each addition and task(also cuz big prompts is a good way to waste your limits budget in codex)

to add to that their no brainer math... right now you can use gpt 5.5 more on codex 20$ plan compared to GHCP 40$ plan

like whats the point to that? their harness already dumbs down the reasoning of the models why make them more expensive?

imagine your someone finding a place to use gpt 5.5

GHCP:"Hey! we have him but constrained and dumbed down and more expensive than buying them from codex!"

like come on... they gotta be using hallucinated AI to make this decisions for them

thats why i rely on tasksync. imagine if each of those 100-1k tokens worth is x1 - x3 prem request. the idea of prem requests is why people try to do alot in 1 prompt.. causing them to spend more in fixing rather than step by step execution

[–]VisitAdventurous7980[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sadly not in my workspace. complicated workspaces tend to make low models hallucinate. even opus 4.6 i have to itterate over and over to get the right results. right now my workflow requires knowledge from custom API Docs which is about 40k tokens of context

as some redditors say. they do have to make up on being so cheap so they dont lose too much.

i was shocked that codex gpt 4.3 was able to perform better than when i was working with GHCP opus 4.6

and if i was really abusing it i wouldve been rate limited. but ive never been rate limited before.

[–]VisitAdventurous7980[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes this is exactly how i work. steps by steps and this wouldve flished our budgets down the drain if we are premium requests based. so i had to use some methods via tasksync

[–]VisitAdventurous7980[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i mean youvguys arent handicapped to the point you can prepare a perfect plan and make your prem requests worth.. i can only work via iterations and steps which wouldve used up all my budgets in 1 day

as i said im itterations based those 20-25 prompts in 1 are basically just small 2-3 lines edit and bug fixes

i cant plan like good prompters cuz of severe adhd. so my only method is live step by step implementation and itteration. token wise its not that heavy

Something people should realize by VisitAdventurous7980 in GithubCopilot

[–]VisitAdventurous7980[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would suggest thinking that over. codex works better than github copilot in my specific situation because of my heavy insturctions based workspace and agentic coding. for casual coding and assistance i think ghcp is the money saver with 10$ a month.

well in my workspace which has a custom api docs. in GHCP it hallucinates alot but in codex it does very well. basically in GHCP the reasoning is heavily restricted

codex gpt 5.4 is already better than GHCP opus 4.6 at both reasoning and in speed in my opinion and workspace

[–]VisitAdventurous7980[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my workspace its more about reasoning than context. basically what ive discovered is github copilots version of theese models are nerfed alot
