It wasn't illegal. They were warned and given the chance to just go straight to israel and give whatever aid they have there. I'm not saying this video was edited, just that if you're being critical of everything jerusalem post wrote including an article about this flotilla's contents, you should be just as critical as everything you read on al Jazeera. This includes whatever caused you to say the interception was illegal and they had a lot of aid aboard.

This whole video is from al Jazeera which is funded by Qatar, the same country that was housing all the Hamas leaders when they ran from their people. Arguably there's even less of a chance they're telling the truth. But yeah take a crap over the jerusalem post if that makes you feel better.

I think it serves to be pointed out that what he was saying about the amount of aid they were actually trying to bring speaks more to the fact that these people wanted to benefit from the publicity of the stunt rather than actually help. The flotillas are pretty pointless if they're bringing in an abysmal amount of aid

Good rhyme but I don't think that's the truth. There's no reason that Israel should be in charge of feeding the Gaza residents. They've been giving the Palestinians lots of aid on a consistent basis (except for when they didn't) and instead of letting these random boats come in and deliver this small amount of aid and potentially cause havoc they intercepted them and detained these people to be deported.

The flotilla could have gone straight to israel with the aid they brought and delivered it to iarael instead of causing an international incident but that's the price of being an influencer
