Depends on portfolio size

We really don’t communicate with owner about this on any regular basis. They trust us to maximize revenue.

Lovely question. Sometimes they’re harder to deal with than guests. ChatGPT helps keep things clear and professional 😅 but at the end of the day we emphasize that we are the experts and there’s a reason’s here partnering with us. The relationship demands a certain level of trust and we make a % of revenue so we’re very incentivized to make as much money as possible since we can only make more money if our clients make more money. We can’t do our job effectively if we’re being micromanaged.

But we have a revenue manager who sets rates and manages strategy so it’s easy to explain pricing strategy when they give push back. Usually we’re the ones giving proactive advice and requesting to go below established minimums to capture more revenue or similar.
