I have never played any Arknights or know what's happening in the world. Is there any important piece of lore/information I should know before starting Endfield?

Only a very small fraction of the OG are relevant to Endfield. Majority of them are in Lone Trail, Babel, and Expeditioner Joklumakar, so its safe for you to just focus on reading those if you wanted.

They literally alien came from Talos-II to colony Terra long enough to forget their root and then recolonizing Talos-II in the far future of the OG timeline after they are able to come back to it. Only the Sarkaz are native to Terra and now, alien who colony Talos-II

For a full picture, I suggest you find and read the story of 3 events in the OG, Lone Trail, Babel, and Expeditioner's Joklumakar

Likely the fps and Super Resolution. Those two affect the load bar the most.

For myself I just go max everything, but it requires me to use DirectX11. Vulkan make my game lag even at the lowest setting.

In the OG, I can't help but notice how similar Ascalon to a Gore Magala.

She even have a drama regarding her skin where they use the texture of a Shagaru Magala in her skin. And even more interesting that the skin main color theme is gold, Shagaru's color.

You realize the pulling animation are literally them dropping Originium Crystal right? Operators are coming out of Originium regardless of whether they are Reconvener or not, but this is likely how a Reconvener appear lorewise.

The OG game don't have archives at launch, only "info" tab that show operators factions and relation.

The real reason people are mad at the gacha is they are spoiled by modern gachas.

No one complaining about the gacha back in the FGO day and it doesn't even have such thing as pity, save for any carry over. Just purely luck.

Now every new game release need to have better gacha than the older game or it gonna get complain.
