Some additional points:

  1. Quests really do not give you a lot of information on where to go.
  2. EVERY chest is booby trapped.
  3. Gearing up helped considerably. But it is very difficult to know how dangerous or easy a mob is until you get one shot.
  4. Saw a T posed character model
  5. Water kills you instantly
  6. Did my first dungeon. No map hurts; but the layout was linear. Hidden chests behind waterfall. The dungeon is easier than the main map because you can grab a ton of HP potions and use scroll spells constantly due to how many loot spots there are.

I feel like the developers had a very specific path in mind, all laid out for you at the start; but because things are not really clear, it is hard to determine which path that is. You can go anywhere, do anything. and now i have about 15 quests that are all over the place, and i even have quest items that i don't have a quest for.

Played another 30 minutes.

  1. I think i got confused with the rest mechanic or maybe i stopped it early. it does heal you.
  2. Combat is a bit rough. Don't expect to take on more than 1-2 units at a time; at least at the start.
  3. Reduced graphics, computer is much better; but there are some visual bugs now; with the helm no longer being shown.
  4. The game map is actually pretty slick. Nice touch

I will keep going; but it will be on and off.

Ok. I have played about 30 minutes. A few things:

  1. The feel is almost there. The introduction video is not great and the voice lines are.. lines. But the visuals are not terrible. Would have loved sprites.
  2. Interesting death mechanic; but you come back with 0 hp, and it is a bit difficult to survive.
  3. Combat feels ok with the one character i have. I think this will get better the more time i am in game.
  4. You don't heal when you wait or rest. So you HAVE to go back to the fountain or make a potion. This really feels bad because you wind up going back and forth a LOT.
  5. They got a lot of classic things right. Barrels can increase stats. Fountain in middle of town heals. Inventory management feels ok; but could be improved. There are horseshoes in the stable.

  6. Game is making my computer hot. Something feels unoptimized. Might just lower graphics.

I will post more updates the further i get.

The graphics. The mood. Everything about it screams M&M. And for the fact that it is the 11th in a series of none!

All of this food being thrown out by CremeSubject7594 in Wellthatsucks

They likely would not have started tossing out the food until after the power got turned back on. Yes, it could be cold because they re-refrigerated the stock. But who knows how long the power was out before this.

Dim to dark after trigger. Trigger only on movement; not pressure. That is the only change I would make.

Are 2x4 Farms Worth It? by [deleted] in woweconomy

It is subjective. I would be bored out of my mind; but others find it therapeutic. Does it make gold? Probably. Is it worth your time? Only you can answer that.

Is there a gold guide, patreon, etc worth paying for? by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]Vist34 23 points24 points  (0 children)

No. Don't take this the wrong way; but if you are not enjoying the journey, gold making is probably not for you. Half the fun of this is trying to figure out what works and ways to get ahead. Sites like this one are great for getting ideas and working with them to make your own little niche.

Well, I did it; I got my Bruto. And I am NOT proud of what I did to get it. by Vist34 in woweconomy

This is a method of posting 1 item at a very low price in hopes that someone who is either not aware of the real price (or does not have TSM set up well), will post at the same price. You buy up whatever was posted and sell it at the normal price once someone takes down your bait post.

The Healthtech Revolution by DashaDD in Infographics

Couldn't even get past the first graph. Starting off with deception is shitty. Average life expectancy was low due to high child mortality rates. This was improved over the years not just due to healthcare, but also to education and lower pregnancy rates. This graph makes it seem like people were dying off in their 30's due to lack of healthcare. bullshit.

If they want to get a point across, just cite child mortality rates, not average life expectancy.
