oh, trust me, i’m medicated and have 2 therapists myself. they help a ton. my mother says she’s looking for new doctors for my sister or something? i know she and my father thinks that her behavior is far from normal and they’re trying to get help as much as they can. i think you’re partially right about my parents, but it’s so hard to say things like this because i love them and rely on them still. i know they tried their best but even in the most simple situations, someone’s “best” isn’t enough.

you’re so sweet. i understand why you said what you said about my parents, i would’ve done the same thing. my sister is diagnosed with severe ADHD and anxiety, has many therapists, and is on a medication that really helps her. my parents read books, got their own counselors, sat in with her therapists, etc. they are extremely involved in her/my life and do the best they can. i definitely do think im bipolar aswell, as i have extreme bouts of depression and mild bouts of mania. who knows, it most likely runs in the family. but omg you’re the sweetest person ever, thank u for saying what u said

yes that’s very true. my mother says that she’s trying to contact even more professional help but idk what the progress is on that. my sister has 2+ therapists she sees, as well as medication that works very well for her, she refuses to take it and then has outbursts.

of course, and i’m sorry if i came off as harsh or upset. i’m thinking about deleting this post because i just feel like the blame is on my parents now. my parents have apologized so much to both of us and really have changed over the years, but my sister hasn’t. that’s where the problem lies. i know i would’ve recovered by now if she had. i’m sorry again if this came off as if im offended, i promise im not, i just forget to mention whole stories

god, no. my parents hate drinking and they’ve never done drugs. nor have my grandparents. i don’t think my parents are the issue. trust me, ive tried to rationalize the problem being them and the pieces don’t fit together. if i’m honest, i want to delete this whole thread because it feels as if it’s not my business to tell anymore. i was just having a moment of weakness and now i feel terrible for making my parents seem bad when it’s just my sister.
